Cozy Tide

The dev is responsive and clearly loves their game. I honestly thought it would just be some casual clicky fishy, but its so much more than that. There are so many decor options, so many pets, hats, outfits, and you can place some really cozy decor on your island and make it what you want. I unlocked the ability to upload my island and see other people's islands and give them ratings as well, and you can get a boat and go to a bunch of different islands. There's also a lot of incremental strategy involved too by upgrades, and you can attempt to make the entire game idle as well. I just need other people to know about it because its honestly a great game. Good job! Con: Cloud save doesn't transfer across steam deck and PC for me. Some achievements and some parts of the game are bugged Game is a bit too RNG based, on some special islands you might have to fish hundreds of times to get the one fish you need. I can't even imagine how long it would take to grind to get all four hundred. Finished? Yes, not achievements. Steam Achievements? A VERY impossible task. Fun game with a lot of fish to catch :=) Perfect for completionists and people who like fishing games.

I don't usually leave comments on small indi, cozy games, even though they're typically good and fun, but I felt compelled to leave one for this game because it has so much potential and hooked me within the first 30 min. The game is fun, action-packed and features a huge variety of fish to collect. The fishing mechanics aren't always the same, which makes it really entertaining. As you play the weather and time of day shift, new fish spawn, you recive cryptic yet sweet massages in bottles that hint at a deeper story to be discoverd. All in all, it's an excellent game- especially considering it's in early stage... And it's perfect for summer. I can't wait to see where it all leads, and I'm looking forward to an interesting story. A cute, relaxing little game with lots to click on and do. So many cosmetics to unlock with the cutest little companions that follow you around. I've been enjoying it as a wind down game that is more than just an idle game. I have had some issues with performance in 4k, but these were resolved when going down to 1080p. The dev is super responsive as well and keen to fix issues when they pop up.

The little bit of the game I was able to play was nice. It's a shame that it won't even start anymore. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling fresh, but it's completely broken at this point. Hopefully there's an update in the future to fix it, but it's literally unplayable since it won't go past the initial loading screen.
