Very fun little 2-hour game, sort of if you made a Metroidvania-ish experience out of 100 puzzle rooms (though not all of them are puzzles). Simple and intuitive mechanics, fun to explore, finished it all in one stretch. Cool solo indie project. Don't even remember how I heard about this but I'm glad I did. Note: Steam says it is "unsupported" for the SteamDeck but it ran just fine without any configuration. I think I had to set it to full screen and that's it.1 found this helpful
Fun game. A few rooms felt like I was fighting the controls more than puzzling out what to do. A few rooms felt trivial if you weren't concerned with death count. Overall I recommend it.1 found this helpful
Fun little game.
I enjoyed this game quite a bit.
Fun little game with a lot of charm. One issue though is that the controls are kind of janky, and in some places, I felt that the challenges were just due to bad controls. Notably: - The "slow and steady" room in the worm caves could use some more lenient hitboxes. - The timing in the fireball room in the worm cave was way too tight, and you could decrease the fire rate by a tiny bit there. The dev should look into that one post about how Celeste makes controls forgiving and just implement all of those things. Also the Steam controller integration was buggy for me. And also on that note, the fact that at the beginning the game doesn't tell you which keyboard keys map to which button was very confusing. I didn't know what the jump button was and had to remap the controls in the menu.
Love it. Brilliant premise executed with cucurbitaceous panache. Love the goofy "grandma's harvest season decorations" aesthetic too.
