About 12 HOURS 2

12 HOURS 2 is a horror game in which the main character finds himself in an unusual dream. The main goal of the game will be to wake up, but this will require going through difficulties and not falling into the hands of a vigilant museum guard. The artificial intelligence of the enemy has many functions and abilities, thanks to which the gameplay will be much brighter and more interesting! How far will you go to unravel the secrets of Douglas? What does he hide from prying eyes?

What is already available in the early version of the game:
- large randomly generated level;
- very developed intelligence of the enemy;
- a small storyline;
- a terrible, but sometimes funny atmosphere;
- a set of randomly generated museum rooms with exhibits;
- system of achievements;
- the ability to complete the game in stealth mode.

Firstly, I have never played the first game, so I don't know how this compares. I don't typically write reviews for games I haven't finished completely, but I really don't think I'll be coming back to this game at all. So, the first thing that the player sees is a screen with bad English (you can understand the gist, though). The goal is simple: turn on clocks, dodge security. However, I spent almost an hour trying to find my way through the dark without seeing the security. After getting myself confused, lost and turned around, I finally saw the security guard and it was easy enough to dodge. The graphics were actually not that bad, but they did use characters like Chucky and Annabelle. The location was interesting and the museum objects seemed random but were nice for the most part. I didn't experience any bugs during my short gameplay, however, sometimes interacting with the candles was an issue. Sometimes it took way too many clicks to be able to pick them up, even if the cursor was right on the candle. The game was also way too dark and the game has no in-game settings for brightness. I get that you're supposed to be using a lantern to be sneaking around but it doesn't mean …
Warning: Asset Flip! 12 HOURS 2 is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genu…

HUGE improvement from the previous. I enjoyed the quirks and shenanigans of my antics with the security officer. Truly a game I wish I never woke up from. Never ending fun and excitement that kept entertained and thrilled to my very core. This will be tale I tell my children one day.
