This Australian Indie studio is committed to converting the old Infocom text adventures to 3d first person adventures.3D Text Adventure is the first of these to be developed. These infocom remakes are practically exactly the same as the originals.

WASD - move
Mouse - look around
Left click - interact

This game that used to be titled "Zork Remake" on Steam has been on my wishlist for a while, cause it looked like the sort of early 3D that I like, and I do like it visually. It is a definitely very cheap, but free, remake of Zork from a text based game into a 3D game. That seems fun enough for me, even if it isn't very good. The problem here is that the game runs *terribly*. You can run this at 640x480 with the lowest graphics and it will just constantly be low frames because the game is probably always rendering everything. Sad cause I want to see more of it, but it's pretty unplayable frame wise.
A Unity remake of Zork, pretty but gets bland quickly and seems incomplete 5.1/10
Unfinished peace of a good text adventure. No navigation is a big disadvantage. 4/10
I enjoyed the game. Took me a bit to find all the items and find out how to use them. was stuck a few. I chalk it up to glitches here and there. Some more contextual/visual clues would be fun to find and apply to solutions. escaping the map leads to some pretty unfinished? locations. I would like to see all the zork material applied, also more interaction with the random items floating around. I would like to see some feedback when an item does't work somewhere. They comedy is missing a bit. I hope you finish part 2, I would buy it.
