same as the first game, it has some pretty major optimization problems. but even putting that aside, the "anomalies", if you can even call them that, are extremely obvious, which makes the game easy to beat and pretty bland. it's never scary, and the jumpscare button is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame. it's more loud than actually scary, which is typical and sometimes work, but only when theres actually tension, not when nothing is going on and all of a sudden you go deaf. unlike "8AM" and "8AM: The Office", the swimming pool environment is much smaller and mostly empty, which makes this one in the series feel even more pointless. i really can't recommend this one. if I were the developer, i honestly wouldn't have charged money for it. and again, yes, there are "100" anomalies, but some are just variants that appear multiple times in slightly different ways or locations.

Get ready for more fun, eerie, and outrageous nights in 8AM The Swimming Pool. Another great game by 8AM. It is always fun to try and discover the many anomalies that rear their heads during your playthrough.

2.5/5 Game's ok but needs an overhaul. The game is easy and not scary at all even with "Jumpscares" button enabled. Most anomalies are mediocre - different changes like "person missing, standing in other room". I successfully collected all 100 anomalies by finding 7 anomalies in a row 5 times in 20 minutes, without even looking at cameras, purely by bruteforcing the button... I will leave a positive review if the game gets a major update. Ideas to improve the game: 1. Make the player specify the room/camera where the anomaly persists. 2. Add unique anomalies with motion like something moving in the darkness. 3. Delete "Jumpscare" button, tone down jumpscares to 1-2%, improve jumpscares because current ones are trash to be honest, make anomalies to be some kind of jumpscares and something stationary creepy - merge the horror dynamic and make crazy jumpscares rare so we don't see those once every two minutes. 4. Do everything possible to make players gripped to the game so it doesn't feel pointless. 5. Add more Steam achievements, cards and badges.
