2/10 + gameboy audio and look - cant rebind controls - almost nothing in this game. lost of empty space clicked on every single thing in the house multiple times, checked key on every locked door twice, and meowed at both people 100 times together. no idea what to do. cant go that way a dog, cant go that way a dog! locked door, locked door, locked door.5 found this helpful
+ • Retro pixel art style • simple controls, easy to pick up • many unlockable Steam achievements • affordable price • perfect for fans of short, emotional indie games – • no save system, if you quit, you have to start over • very short playtime
Conclusion:
A Cat & His Boy is a small, charming indie game with a lot of heart. If you enjoy short, emotional stories wrapped in nostalgic aesthetics and can overlook the lack of a save feature, you'll discover a little gem here. _____________________________________________ + • Retro-Pixel-Art-Stil • einfache Steuerung, gut zugänglich • viele freischaltbare Steam-Erfolge • günstiger Preis • perfekt für Fans kurzer, emotionaler Indie-Games – • kein Speichersystem, bei Spielabbruch muss man von vorne beginnen • sehr kurze Spielzeit
Fazit:
A Cat & His Boy ist ein kleines, charmantes Indie-Spiel mit viel Herz. Wer kurze, emotionale Geschichten in nostalgischem Gewand mag und mit dem fehlenden Speichersystem leben kann, wird hier ein kleines Juwel entdecken.2 found this helpful
It has pretensions of philosophical impact, but lacks any grace or weight. You aimlessly wander a home and its adjoined garden, interacting with obvious interactable objects, and the human child becomes happier. The human child denies the chance to expand his worldview or understand those around him, and finds contentment in regressing to his singular, individualist perspective.1 found this helpful
super cute game. the story wasn't as in-depth and emotional as the other comments led on imo, but very touching and heartwarming all the same if you like the aesthetic style.1 found this helpful
https://www.twitch.tv/khaleesiealesi (streamed here) I got this game for free. At first, I was nervous to stream it, because it looked like it was going to be a long puzzle game. HOWEVER! I decided to and OMG BUY THIS GAME. RUN DO NOT WALK. It is amazing, was healing to my inner child, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i can't recommend it enough!
Cute short game!
