About A Clumsy Flight
A clumsy flight is a 2D action-roguelike with a focus on dodging enemy planes and upgrading your equipment.
Each time you play A Clumsy Flight your experience will be different and your playstyle will change. Along the way you will get the chance to upgrade your gear and defeat the
danger lurking in the air. Make the right choices on your journey or the never ending
flood of danger will snowball faster than you think into an inevitable dive into the ground.
After each adventure you will be able to customize/upgrade your tools for the next flight
and getstronger, faster and moreskillfull each run.
Customizing your tools can be done in terms of a new plane with different stats and quirks. Such as a very fast plane being able to dive through small gaps or a bigger tougher build
that can resist alot of incoming shots and not be bothered by it.
Besides a new plane you can change your firearm. Inside the full game there will be lots
of different weapons to choose from that fit your playstyle. All of these weapons will also
have different stats, bullets and other unique possibilities.
Upon destroying different airplanes you will automatically gain a certain amount of xpthat will give you the ability to upgrade some of your equipment or choose to add new
modifications to your weapons. Upgrades can also give you different perks, new abilities,
new friends/helpers and tonsmore crazy upgrades that will help you in your journey.
Destroying bigger types of enemies(bosses) allows you to upgrade your plane in a different way that can drastically change the pace of the game or allows you to make
overpowered/game breaking plane and weapon combinations.

Good, short, fun and simple game. The pixel art is endearingly awesome, and the music is great. Upgrades make me feel super powerful when the screen is filled with bullets. Is fun.2 found this helpful
Saw the RCE video, and couldnt refund it when i realized it sucked
This is a charming and fun little game. I would recommend it.
Nice idea marred by execution. I want to like it but it just isn't fun because of the choice of two terrible control schemes, either you can't aim but can steer, or you can aim but can't steer. Just surviving more than 60 seconds to get to your first level up seems more about random luck than any skill, and whether you survive longer is entirely RNG based on whether you get an upgrade that lets you hit anything. Furthermore about 50% of level-ups will present you with 3 choices of upgrades that are either a wasted opportunity cost that puts you behind the difficulty curve, or actively harmful. Advice for the dev: make it have mouse aiming/twin stick aiming by default. Remove the thing that varies the turn speed that makes it utterly uncontrollable under advanced controls. Give a clear high-contrast direction of travel indicator so I can see where I'm moving while I'm looking where I'm aiming. Remove the utterly useless starter weapons or tune them so they are a meaningful choice. Fix the hit boxes so you don't take collision damage when you have half a plane's width between you and your opponent, and lose the movement stun on impact too, it just causes death spirals. I've played a lot of VS clones, don't get me wrong it's not a super bad game. But I can't get over the movement. I tried both types they offer, and just cannot get into it it's way too slow and you're constantly just turning on a horde. Unfortunately the way the movement is has ruined the fun of the game for me which sucks because the trailer looks extremely fun!
