About A Day Without Me

✦ AI summary

Explore an eerie abandoned city as its sole survivor, uncovering the mystery of a mass disappearance through environmental puzzles and cryptic clues while your sanity hangs in the balance. This isometric adventure stands out with its non-linear narrative, haunting hand-crafted world, and reality-warping visuals that shift as you descend deeper into psychological horror.

You wake up in a deserted city, the only one not to disappear. Everyone seems to have disappeared suddenly, leaving behind crashed cars, open houses, and their belongings. But you're not alone. There's something out there in this strange city, full of even stranger sights and events. Welcome to A Day Without Me, an isometric puzzle adventure game where you'll have to figure out how you were left as the lone survivor of a mass disappearance on Earth, while trying to hold on to your sanity.
  • A deep, complex story: Figuring out the mystery behind the disappearance requires more than a straightforward playthrough. Pay attention to the environment, examine each object carefully, and watch out for strange clues that help you understand - even if they make no sense at first.
  • A city to explore: The abandoned city has plenty of challenges and puzzles to solve, both in plain sight and hidden away. The semi-open world makes playthroughs unpredictable and unique.
  • An eerie sight: A city without people has a haunting beauty to it, realized through a highly stylized art style that can change moment to moment as you delve deeper into the mystery and face mind-bending challenges.

There is no objective (or any hints) in the game making a confusion, the map is way to big with no exact purposes, and bugged item causing player stuck (I'm stuck at chapter 2 just because the ball cant be interact). I do interested on the game but if you can fixed the issue i'll much appreciate it

A Day Without Me is an atmospheric indie puzzle-adventure developed and published by Gamecom Team that places the player in a quiet, unsettling world where humanity has seemingly vanished overnight. The game opens with a deceptively simple premise: you wake up to find yourself completely alone in a city frozen in the middle of everyday life. Cars are abandoned in the streets, objects lie scattered as if people disappeared mid-action, and a heavy silence hangs over everything. This immediate sense of emptiness sets the tone for the entire experience, drawing players into a mysterious and melancholic journey driven by curiosity rather than urgency. Exploration is the core of the game, presented through an isometric perspective that encourages careful observation of the environment. Progression depends on interacting with objects, navigating unfamiliar spaces, and solving environmental puzzles that range from intuitive to deliberately obscure. The game rarely provides explicit instructions, instead pushing players to interpret clues through context and experimentation. This design choice reinforces the feeling of isolation and confusion, as you are left to make sense of the world ent…

This game doesn't make any sense. You don't know what to do and why you're doing what you do. It's slow. SUPER SLOW. Most of the time is just blandly running accross the map not knowing wtf you are doing or need to do. And even worse of all, it's BUGGY and CLUNKY. When wanting to replay the game all items disappeared so I couldn't do another run. And to correct it I went to erase the save file in AppData/LocalLow and the studio is the first one which had two different files for the same studio ??? (there's a GamecomTeam file and a Gamecom Team file). They couldn't even do the save file correctly ??? It didn't changed crap to erase the save so I just erased everything. You cannot even replay the game without the need to do weird sheanigans because the items don't spawn anymore!

Teaboy's Basic(ish) Reviews....I read a lot of reviews when looking at games on Steam, and it quickly gets tiring – those who write involved, down to the micron scale reviews, although helpful, end up like looking at War & Peace when you’ve only got time for a quick 5 minute dump! This is middle of the road and to the point – not easy for me as I tend towards sesquipedalian loquaciousness! Vociferously Verbose? Alright, verbal diarrhoea. (Although I hate panning a developer’s work and all the time, effort and love they put into designing these – it is their life after all – this is my honest, personal opinion of my level of enjoyment. Sorry devs!). A note on time played: My Steam clock does not seem to work properly, indeed, it even minuses time on occasion! Plus, I have a tendency to wander off and leave games running at times, so time played may not be entirely accurate! Teaboy’s Tonsil Titillators or Toenail Titbits! (Rating) Tonsil Tickler (Totally Tops): The frenchy of which you always dreamt! To quote a master, “She’s got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a Man’s tonsils!”. An absolute masterpiece and joy to play. The Tits (Terri…
