Being real about this game. I can see alot of effort went into it and the love put into it is apparent. Although at the price point of almost 90AUD. This game is unfinished and riddled with bugs, Within the first 20 minutes I found the fox stuck in animations unable to jump. I also had the issue of the camera lingering too long after the fox died. The beginning of the story for what I can tell was good. Although not to the point I don't feel like I've wasted $90. $15 AUD would be a more reasonable price point. As for the multiplayer I was unable to try it due to the fact I wouldn't make my friends pay $90 for this game.30 found this helpful
I received a free review copy and got to play it a little bit this week. I think it's super neat that this is a solo dev/publisher game and I can see that a lot of labour went into the creation of A Fox and His Robot, but my experience wasn't the greatest. The level build up was fun, but sometimes felt a bit janky / unfinished. While it's a fun idea that the dev did the voice acting, the audio isn't very well mixed. The mic clips from time to time, and sometimes the music is louder than the voices so you miss a lot of the storytelling. My favourite part about the game was the introduction video from the dev, that was really lovely and other games can learn from this. The idea of A Fox and His Robot is fun, it's kind of Celeste like, but it feels like the game needs some work to play smoothly. I would not purchase the game for the price that it is currently set to, which is more a AAA-game price in my opinion.8 found this helpful

Beautiful story 10/10 graphics / animation 10/10 Simple yet Nerve wrecking - i love it.. And viewers do too.
I love how oldschool the game feels. The moment where you are this close to smashing your keyboard because of a mistake :D Pure gold. The dialogue is actually really interesting. You can see all the effort thats been put in the game. Simply amazing
Honesty is the best policy and i'm going to put it out there. I was very excited to try out this game and had the priviledge to stream it. There is alot of cons against pros. However is it is not a bad game, For the price that the game is asking i'm sorry this game seemed unfinished and no directions. The story was all over the place. Pros: The music is fantastic it kept me playing just to listen the characters are cute WAIT THIS WAS MADE ONLY BY 1 PERSON? The colors are gorgeous The enviorments are intriguing Cons: No subtitles :(it would be nice to have subtiles to follow along what is going on in the story) The voice acting mic spike Way too much voice dialouge No volume control for the game (some parts of the game were louder and softer in other parts) Missing assets (I don't know if that was part of the game but there was one part i was in a snowing level and I was walking in the air and heard the walking on snow sound. Made it challenging after the first 45 minutes of very repetative obsticles (Without spoilers the begining of the game was a bit disappointing and looked like a a browser flash game for the first hour of playing. I was so sad I wanted to watch the dev…
