About A Game About AI

Please note: This game is fully created using assets made by real people.

A Game About AI is a minimalist incremental game about expanding the infrastructure behind artificial intelligence.Start with a single region, build a single facility, and scale it into a global network of data centers, energy systems, and supply chains. As capacity grows, so do the costs.Energy demand rises. Water runs short. Economies shift. Conflicts emerge.Expand carefully or push too far and watch the consequences unfold.

Features:

  • Clean, number-driven progression
  • Expanding AI infrastructure across the globe
  • Policy Cards and NPC choices with consequences
  • Dynamic world reactions including shortages and unrest
  • Dark, systemic outcomes
You are not conquering the world. You are optimizing it.And it will cost everything.

This is Plague Inc., on steroids. It's interesting that there are several different ways to play the game I noticed. You can just suck regions dry of all their resources and move on to the next, or you can do your best to keep the entire planet in balance. I chose the later, and it was a much more difficult path. (that's what I get for trying to be the good guy). The dev did give me a key to cover the game on my YouTube channel, but I would have paid for this honestly. What a neat experience that continues to lives with you, even after you have closed the game.. rent free in my head.

Went into it expecting an "AI is the villain" version of Plague Inc and my expectations were met, with obvious differences. Made it to Prestige 6 so far and it's gotten fairly routine to take over regions, boost their resources, and drain skill points to make it to the next one. Overall, I'm gonna keep playing for a while to see what happens at lvl 10 and I think it was worth the small price tag.

Wonderful game. Going into it, i was thinking it was another resource management game, however, I lost the first few times I started trying, making me curious about how the rest of the game would proceed. Once i figured out the skill system and the levels, it became much easier to understand, and much more fun to play. Would play for a long gaming sesh, 4.5/5 stars from me!
