About A Modest Legacy
Explore the world of A Modest Legacy, where you must fight to create your kingdom while taking down your enemies. A Modest Legacy is a real time strategy, roguelite, single-player game where you must work to grow your cities, outposts, and armies, all while keeping your population fed and ready for war.
Create your kingdom by constructing buildings, researching technology, and managing your resources. Build up to 20 different building types to create your own unique kingdom every time. Build a Citadel to gain buffs from the gods, or a market to trade with your allies. Your kingdom will need good technology, so don’t forget to research all of the topics you’ll need.
Conquer your enemies by creating an adorable yet powerful army. But don’t stop there. Construct catapults, battering rams, boats, and more to destroy your enemies’ kingdoms. You must coordinate your army and artillery to capture your enemies' keeps before they reach yours. Battle up to 9 AI controlled kingdoms to be the last kingdom standing.

Hello, It's just bad. No explanation on how much resources each building produce, you build and discover. Mine is limited as a unique building, you can't build a second, you need to upgrade it to produce more. If you want to see the timer for the completion of buildings and research, you can't move while it's open. Tried 2 games, I lost before being able to build the barracks or produce a single weapon, 2 or 3 mud balls came and attack my townhall. Research stuff takes 5 -10s for the firsts, why put a research tree if you unlock half of it in the 2 starting minutes ? Thanks for reading. Wait to buy this, it's just bad atm.6 found this helpful
super fun little medieval city builder. with a cute art style and an interesting premise. Plays similarly to other games like kingdoms and castles or other tiny RTS's if you are a fan of those. Totally worth the low low price to support Happy Viking Studios and pick up a fun little game. WORTH YOUR TIME6 found this helpful

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is broken abandonware. it has been in early access for a really long time, and it is somehow less complete and more bug-ridden than the version of tic-tac-toe I programmed within a week for an internship. -Rebuilding doesn't work properly, sometimes making the game think you exceeded the build limit of things, -quitting the game somehow doesn't work, -when my library got destroyed, I wasn't down to 1 research slot again, I was down to zero and could not research until I built another library, remember I could not even rebuild the first one cause that feature doesn't work, -Soldiers changing equipment will randomly retain previous equipment visually, my halberdiers were holding shields and daggers -Typos, the are halberds. not halbreds. -Building "artillery" (it's siege equipment but sure, whatever) got me a trebuchet called "catapult", the second trebuchet was fine, so I try to dismantle the first one, hoping it will correct the name, dismantling doesn't work, the siege machine stays in the list and takes up the 2 slots permanently None of these should still be present, none of these bugs take more than an evening and a cup of coffee to fix if you know…
