This gets a reluctant thumbs up. This game is beautiful. The art style is charming, with lovely vibrant colours. The gameplay, though, is a mixed bag. The puzzle difficulty swings between way too easy and weirdly difficult. Some of that comes down to clunky and unclear design choices, like needing to click around instead of click-and-drag when it’s not obvious, or having objects not respond properly in the mini-games. The knot puzzle was a weird one too. In a couple of puzzles, I just gave up and used the skip button, and I didn’t feel bad about it. I rarely ever skip puzzles in HOGs, but this game warranted it, at times That said, every scene itself is a hidden object puzzle, and the main part of the game worked fine. You can only pick up the items that you need at that time. Others will give a “you might need this later” notification if it’s an interactable you can’t choose yet, so you can take a mental note and come back when the game prompts you to go get it. I am one for loving puzzle games, however I did not find this very fun. First time I've ever willingly started skipping puzzles. (No casual vs challenging difficulty settings.) I wish I liked this more. The idea of objects being found in multiple locations is cool, but the problem arises when you don't know which location you are supposed to be staring at without using a hint, which is not on a timer like every other game, you have to find multiple items to get a hint back. When the main idea of your game becomes tedious, it removes the enjoyment from the game. Sorry, wish them better luck if they make any more.

A charming hidden object game with some very questionable instructions. A Tale for Anna is a pretty little hidden object game that can easily keep you busy for a few enjoyable hours. The scenes are beautifully designed, and the objects are generally easy to spot. If you do get stuck, there’s also a hint system to help you out. For achievement hunters like me, there’s another bonus: You get all achievements naturally through the story, making this a very easy 100% completion ^^ Unfortunately, I wasn’t a big fan of most of the mini-games. Part of that is because the instructions were often only partially visible. I never found a way to see the full text, so in several cases I had no idea what the game actually wanted from me and ended up skipping them. Still, despite that annoyance, I enjoyed my time with it. If you like hidden object games and fairy tale adventures, this one is definitely worth the money ^^

Some puzzles were really easy, some made me rage and spend a ♥♥♥♥ tone of time xd Somewhat naive, looks like made for kids, but still pretty much enjoyable. Can`t say that it is not worth time, just a nice story.
