Generic and short horror indie that will get lost in the sea of similar games. The story is about a man who goes hiking to an unknown spot. When returning home, he takes a wrong step and falls down a cliff. Now he has no idea where he is, but he has to find some shelter fast. So he follows the only path to the house on the hill. The text includes some grammar and capital letter mistakes, but it's acceptable. There aren't many notes, so it won't bother you too much. Although there are no issues with bad optimization, the engine's capabilities are severely constrained. This is noticeable when you walk outside and see grass appear on the screen a few meters in front of you, or trees hovering in mid-air. The first part of the game is slow and uninteresting, with invisible barriers all around, but it does not last long. However, visuals appear much better until you arrive to the house. The house is a typical horror scene, and you can tell right away that something is wrong. Nobody is home, and several of the doors are locked. You don't mind because you soon get comfy. After lighting candles and fireplaces, you decide to sleep. Strange occurrences quickly wake you up. There isn't m…3 found this helpful
a student made this so it is a 1st time full game project it seems. for $3 it wasn't bad for short game but longer if you replay to get all the endings. there are some issues, don't expect much in graphics but for a student? good job. those doors need some work though, in chase scenes they don't always open the first time. and the enemy can glitch right into you. also when using interact even when you see E you still need to be in just the right spot for it to work.2 found this helpful
First off, follow your dreams dev and don't stop until you're on top of the world! First game? Major props, dev. I decided to give this game a shot, I love indie horror games and showcased this on my twitch channel. My viewers liked it. The story was compelling, the atmosphere was different and it wasn't a copy and paste of Death Chord III books or the same layout of a house. It was all unique in its own way. The jumpscares got me, and I love how there were multiple endings, my viewers wanted to see them all. The game bugged out towards the end and I did have to start over, adding checkpoints would be a nice feature. The entities were a little difficult to dip, duck and dodge but my viewers game me excellent tactics to succeed. I was able to achieve two endings, and I am looking forward to going back and getting the third. This game has so much potential, and I hope this dev keeps pushing games out. Despite some bugs, grammar issues and difficulty with escaping the clutches of evil, I enjoyed this game.1 found this helpful
Overall, it felt like watching a classic horror movie. Elements such as a well-structured story and jump scares were enough to enhance the sense of immersion in the game. And the scene after the final ending makes me think a lot. I had fun playing the game, and I recommend playing it for yourself if you get the chance. https://youtu.be/LweRdR15zUY1 found this helpful
