What looks like a fun game is marred by the fact that I cannot jump down with my controller at all. Reading some of the comments, I'm not the only person with this issue. There's also no way to change control type (IE, controller or keyboard), as well as no way to view the controls. For an almost 5.25 year old release that looks like the start of a fun series, this is just bad design/testing. I'd be happy to recommend this game if the issues were fixed and it looked like the devs were listening to their players.
Nice mobility, seems fun enough to give it a try but there are a few things that make me feel this isn't for me. First of all that pressing the attack button once unleashes a two movement attack instead of it being just one attack, the gameplay kinda makes you do small jumps and attack to not loose movility since attacking normally makes you stop moving and stand to watch the full animation or forces you to make a jump to cut through it. I only played the Demo but I feel like if you are looking forward to include platforming to your game you kind of need to have a precise movement system and not having that slight inertia which makes being precise with platforms a bit annoying since you can easily miscalculate the distance due to not controlling the inertia of the movement; I must say me myself didn't have problems with this but have the feeling this may happen and I've seen it in other demos too. Also falling to spikes immediately killing you or not making clear wether something on the screen is a mob or just the background is either a small mistake or a poor design choise. Overall I'd say it seems fun but still has some way to go, it's a solid 6.5/10 for me but it might be good …
if you like platforming game this is a kinda good to play before buying the game
