AESCULAP® OrthoPilot®Elite VR Palpation is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, AESCULAP® OrthoPilot®Elite VR Palpation is a software application that replicates in VR the procedure to do a single surgery using a specific product. And let me tell you right away, if I go in for a surgery and the surgeon tells me everything is going to be fine because he learned to the surgery by downloading a software app that was published as a video game he found while he was browsing Steam, I'm running the hell right out of there and I don't care how f$@#'d up my leg is. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. A training tool for some sort of knee needle thing? Don't know what I was doing, but the idea of stabbing a dude as fast as I can to beat all the other surgeon's high scores was funny enough to me to give this a thumbs up. Интерфейс мог бы быть более интуитивно понятным, а количество доступных сценариев, хотя и достаточно, можно было бы расширить. В целом, несмотря на некоторые недочеты, это ценный инструмент для подготовки и повышения квалификации специалистов. Рекомендую к ознакомлению врачам, заинтересованным в современных методах обучения.
