✦ AI summary
Players appreciate this underrated Metroidvania for its charm and accessibility compared to harder titles like Hollow Knight, though some find it suffers from poor map design and confusing navigation that makes exploration tedious. Common complaints include excessive cooldowns on movement and combat actions, an unhelpful fast travel system, and the feeling that it doesn't stand out in a crowded genre of better alternatives at similar price points.
this game is a very underated game sure. its not for everyone but the fact that nobody knows about this game i very sad. its fun its goos the bosses are not THAT good but there ok. this is an 8/10 game for me please buy this game its peak.3 found this helpful
The game is a super fun metroidvania with a good sized world to explore, satisfying combat, and challenging platforming sections. It also has a lot of personality and charm throughout. The only areas I'd love to see improved are the map and fast travel system. It would be much more convenient if the entire map with details could be viewed on a single screen with the ability to zoom in and out, along with a clearer fast travel system that's integrated in the map. I also noticed that, occasionally, attacks wouldn't register immediately after performing a double or triple jump. It's something you can adapt to with the timing, but it did stand out during my playthrough. Overall, I had a really great time with the game and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys metroidvanias.2 found this helpful
imagine if hollow knight was somehow cuter, but less mysterious and difficult. If you wish silksong was more like hollow knight, this game could very much be worth your time, and since its normally reasonably priced, I would recommend it.1 found this helpful
Map is confusing...and hard to navigate between maps. If you're a type who survive exploration with map like me? Not recommended. Control also have cooldown crossing together. From jumping to sword striking? Cooldown. quite annoying. Fast travel is not useful. You better to travel by yourself all the way Interesting game. It's lovely but also not lovely...
A great game, however, im in your walls.
This game is not terrible, its just not good in a genre with many better games that cost the same. After playing Hollow Knight I tried many other Metroidvanias, and Aestik is one of if not the worst one I've played. There is still fun to be had in the game, but I wouldn't recommend it.
