Islet is a charming little game with great mobility and customization of gameplay that I highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun to play that's not too long. Plenty of fun to be had, runs pretty well on steam deck too, save syncs to it - but it's best played on pc because the resolution options aren't quite compatible with the steam deck.
Very fun! The movement feels great, the bosses are fun, the platforming is fun, the music is awesome. It wasn't super challenging, but not every game needs to give me high blood pressure.
Really love this game so far :) Movement and exploration feels great, characters and world has real heart.
This game is just so nice to unwind with at the end of the day. its not hard which is refreshing, feels great to play, the music is so chill and calming. instead of brainrotting on reels relax the brain with this game
I wouldn't recommend this game to other players because I got all achievements in just 24 hours, which is REALLY short for a $24 game. The gameplay is pretty bad because the music is the same for ALL bosses, and too MANY bosses are just projectile spam. Also, the final boss is super easy even on hard difficulty (I did it first try). Basically, the game is just too easy, most bosses took me only 1-4 tries, and it's surprisingly hard to find a really enjoyable one. As for bugs, it's not really a bug, but if you spam the cloud arrow you can simply float and reach everywhere ultra fast, which can be abused in bosses.
Moderately difficult metroidvania with an original story idea, that has a lot of bosses and a really beautiful art style and some decent humour too Can be completed with all achievements between 10 and 11 hours, but the main game is around 7 hours, which is pretty good too
