seriously, what the hell even is this busted ass "game"? why would you release a game in this sorry state. ive never seen anything like this mess. you got a lot of work ahead to make this something worth other people time and money. the fact this current build costs money is insane. pros: none cons: has option for controller scheme in options while also not supporting controls, had to find that out on the store page. pick a language doesnt seem to work or work well. i picked english, everything still in french. zero idea wtf im supposed to do even in first room. i successfully made it to the mirror and customized the character and equiped whatever the hell that item on the table is, and thats it. walked to the door, couldnt exit, no other prompts for anything. spent maybe 10 minutes walking around the room and then just gave up. im sure there would be more cons if i couldve gotten out the first room. come back in 2 or 3 years when this is maybe playable 1.5 years later, i find it hilarious that hes making a sequel...

I am AFFRAID the games gameplay, dialog, and ui is not good. Some issues are: Gun takes too long to find, characters butt snaps like a rubber band, aiming is weird, everything respawns when you change rooms, and environment is too basic. I don't recommend you purchase till price is lower or game is updated. Rating: "Bad". I'm at a loss of words for how bad this is. Normally I don't like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Indie devs, but this should never have seen the light of day in this state. Its broken, uninteresting, frustrating and simply not in a working or functional state. I could forgive a bad game that had effort put in, but not a game that was clearly not ready to be launched. Nothing I can say will prepare you for how bad "Afraid" is. I'd be fine with some jank, hell some of my favorite steam games are full of jank, but this is simply atrocious. Where to begin... -There are essentially a handful of rooms that are simply recycled throughout the first few "levels". I say first few levels because I only played about 30 mins before calling it quits on this garbage. -The game is entirely way too dark. What is the point of having a sexy female protagonist if i can barely see what I'm doing/looking at. -Half the time the UI inventory doesn't return you to the game work until you spam the exit/tab button. -Enemies have no brief idle or mercy animation like in other games after they hit you so you have a second or two to escape (preventing constantly being hit). this game is trash! broken ai enemies. that grab you 10 feet away, constant stunlock! this game needs to be entierly reworked.

I like the game so far but i only made it to level 3 witch is nothing and stopped playing the controls are vary bad. it seems like this game was given up on witch is sad just adjusting the controls would make the game playable and with the right support there is money to be made here too but i just want to be able to play the game I guess i am moving on. Please fix errors
