Resident Evil Revelations

One of the best games in the franchise in my opinion ...and sadly the last one with Jill ..Capcom you released this more than a decade ago ..don't be like Rockstar and make us wait any longer give us another game with our beloved Jill Valentine. Despite the game being longer than a decade old ..the graphics still stand as quality ..feels like game didn't age a day ...especially in the scenes where in my opinion looks much better than most of modern games. Revelations is really good for what I was expecting. I honestly thought it was going to be a Resident Evil game I’d end up dropping since I expected hand-held slop, but it surprised me. It plays like the original RE4og/RE5 formula without the same level of polish, which is a pretty good bar to hit—especially for a DS game. The strongest aspect was the pacing for an action-focused Resident Evil. It rarely missed a beat, while still keeping the traditional RE style of puzzles and exploration. The map was also cool and reminded me of an old horror movie I watched as a kid called 'Ghost Ship', which boosted my fondness for the game by a lot. The story was goofy, bordering on Scooby-Doo levels of clowning, but I expect nothing less from Resident Evil games that aren't RE2R, although Revelations definitely pushes the envelope more than most games in the series. Where the game hits mediocrity is with some of the boss fights. A few of them are basically just damage sponges with no creative weak spots or interesting mechanics, with the exception of the final bosses. Poorly designed from start to finish, doesn't feel at all like it should be a complete game. It is better on console, but it is so awful on PC it is sad for such an amazing franchise.

It's pretty good but it's trying to go big with its story and its very messing, constatnly throwing you to diffrent charcaters like every other chapter your being ripped form jills game to plan a section as chris or these two random BSAA guys and one fo them is a stalker, some of these sections are a cutscene, walk around this single room, find thing cutscene now back to jill and it got grading really fast.
