About After School Murder Club!!
Welcome to the Murder Club!!
In this short comedy visual novel, you'll take on the role of an unpopular transfer student who begins a new life at a vaguely Japanese high school. They quickly get drafted into the school's most secret after-school club... but could it be that the seemingly innocent members of the Murder Club are hiding a dark secret?!
Featuring:
• A script totalling 63,000 words, taking around 3-4 hours to complete!
• Mildly amusing dialogue loaded with references to anime, video games (mostly Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid), and outdated memes! Because why write funny jokes when you can just copy other people's, right?
• Multiple choices that affect the story, such as your gender, your hobbies, and whether or not you're naked in 50% of the scenes!
• A deadly minigame that is similar to, but legally distinct from, Wheel of Fortune!
• Three different endings, one of which is totally super secret and hard-to-find!
• A bonus beach episode full of frolics, fan service, and... another thing that starts with F!

This is a free Visual Novel about a high school kid and his new friends. It has cartoon graphics, mainly in an anime style, but with a few scenes that look hand-drawn. The story says there are 3 different endings, so there is some replayability. There are no controls. You just read text, and click to go to the next page/picture. The game should take you between 3.5 to 4.0 hours. You play as a total loser starting his first day at a new high school because his dad's job transferrerd him to this location. This kid whines a lot about how unpopular he was at his last high school, and he has apparently always been a loser. He is not too smart, has no life ambition, skips classes, and has this obsession with randomly streaking around school and town. He has absolutely no talent in sports, music, video games, or anything else. He has no friends, and tries desperately for people to like him. He carries around an extremely odd object as his lucky charm, and even talks to it. He says his family often ignores him, sometimes does not feed him, goes on trips without him, and gives him hand-me-down electronics from his step-sister. However, things are looking up for the protag…4 found this helpful

Unoriginal in almost every way. I figured I'd at least go through and get the achievements, and maybe the story would start to grow on me. But the achievements don't work any more. This was brought to the devs' attention a couple years ago, they acknowledged it, and never bothered fixing it. Pretty much sums up the effort put into this.1 found this helpful
"After School Murder Club!!" isn't a game. It's an e-book dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual novel/e-book/fan-fiction, this has no notable gameplay. It's just clicking through badly written dialogue that would never be accepted in print by an actual professional publisher. How did something this badly written end up on Steam? When someone can't get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam Direct under the guise of a game. We're square in the middle of weaponized cringe here, and it's seriously creepy and uncomfortably stuff. As usual, this is a high school anime club dropout fan-fiction. The author relates disturbing fantasies of going to a Japanese high school and dating underaged girls. Certainly this kind of creepy cringe gets people on FBI watch lists. I think it must be difficult to have an underaged imaginary high school girlfriend when you're not allowed within 200m of a school. This was slapped together with the godawful Ren'Py visual novel construction kit... enabling terrible authors to publish books as if they were games when otherwise we might have been spared the pollution. So, just like no profession…
