Air Defender

it just looks cool there's not much tension things move really slowly, you're never really "figuring something out", it's literally just radar coverage, interrogate, maybe judy and weapons hot an interceptor here and there but youre just staring at the screen for twenty minutes doing nothing usually because there's nothing to do, it's so... shallow and like i guess you're micromanaging everything but really i feel like all of the steps and procedures the game makes you do is just there to sort of add friction, like imagine youre playing a shooter game and for whatever reason you have to press four different keys in one order in order to do something please do keep in mind this is coming from someone who finds dangerous waters (from 2005) enjoyable, i am fine with staring at my screen for hours on end for nothing to happen it's just that there is zero tactical depth to this game to make me willing to do

8/10 this game is simple in its design but it can offer seriously epic gameplay once you master it. the game literally starts up in seconds and you can be defending ours skies in under a minute. ++++++++++++++++++++GAMEPLAY+++++++++++++++++++ initially when it came out this game did have a few bugs, aircraft wouldn't intercept or enemy aircraft would randomly be come OP etc, its got a solid team (Ak Ak) behind it. and the discord is alive with helpful suggestions and effective troubleshoot team. gameplay is in it self easy with the speed tools, and if you take the time to master the game, the time spent on stint can be long but eventful. don't get me wrong after a while all you can see is green and the constant droll of the machinery in game "suggests a cool breeze". mostly either it kicks off pretty easy or it takes a while to build up, if you want it right then and here they've added an "instant action" mode. +++++++++++++IMPROVEMENT++++++++++++++++++ there's still a few bugs nothing major and a lot of it is just that every so often, a intercept won't intercept or a random tu-122 will slip in and you need to be bear F**king grills to find the F**ker but these are few an…

Great game, literal definition of easy to learn hard to master. It's quite challenging to get a hang of things, especially if you had no knowledge before playing Air Defender.

Great, in-depth game to make your head hurt. Takes some thinking to balance resources and military effect. Full release will be awesome.

Haven't had time to dig in yet but omg it seems amazing I can't wait to do this
