About ALAYA: Tale of the Gloomy Dream
ABOUT THIS GAME: Waking into the Void
You were once an ordinary mortal in the modern world. Through the mysterious Alaya Nexus, your consciousness has crossed reality to descend upon the ancient, enigmatic frontier of the Great Daqian. This is a land where the scholarly elegance of the Wei and Jin dynasties, the exotic allure of Silk Road dancers, and the bustling energy of earthly marketplaces coexist—yet danger lurks beneath every shadow. In the hidden corners of this world, an unspeakable, cosmic evil festers. The "Void Seeds" relentlessly devour the boundaries of reality. Ancient mythical beasts from the Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas) and entities from folklore have been corrupted and twisted by the Void, morphing into hideous monstrosities. To seek the secrets of transcendence, you will lead a four-man expeditionary squad of "Wayfarers" deep into forbidden ruins consumed by darkness and ink-born aberrations. Uncover the truth, and fight back the corruption.CORE FEATURES
🗺️ Calculated Grid Exploration | Handcrafted Mazes of Despair The game features a hardcore, first-person, tile-based exploration mechanic. Every level, narrative node, and core environment is meticulously handcrafted—complemented by dynamic monster spawns, hidden realm events, and randomized loot to ensure every expedition is fraught with the unknown. The dark ruins are perilous, featuring multiple supernatural mechanics and environmental hazards that will constantly test your strategic judgment:- The Ghost-Wall Labyrinth: Trapped in an endless loop of shifting space, you must decipher the underlying paranormal anomaly to break free from the shackles of the maze.
- Double-Edged Treasure Vaults: Rare, mythical treasures often harbor fatal traps. Greed is a snare; high risks bring high rewards.
- Hazardous Environments: Pitch-black zones, random teleportation traps, and extreme, unstable terrain stack together to leave a razor-thin margin for error.
- Shaolin Martial Monk: The immovable vanguard of the team. Specialized in threat management (aggro) and melee counterattacks, they bear the brunt of the survival pressure.
- Confucian Canon-Keeper: The grand tactician of the battlefield. Utilizing the esoteric truths of the sacred texts, they buff ally attributes and orchestrate the rhythm of combat.
- Mohist Ranger: A precision physical damage dealer. Expert in long-range piercing strikes and deploying tactical mechanical traps to dismantle enemy defenses.
- Taoist Immortal: Master of the elemental arts. They exploit elemental weaknesses to shatter enemies while providing continuous healing and support to the squad.
- Elemental Counters & States: Both allies and enemies can trigger exclusive elemental states that check and balance one another. For instance, the Frozen state significantly reduces a target’s Blunt resistance while increasing their Piercing resistance. The tides of battle shift in the blink of an eye.
- Elemental Synergy Pursuit: True to the philosophy of elemental generation, when a teammate inflicts a specific elemental state, other classes can trigger a "Pursuit Strike," delivering explosive, multi-hit burst damage within a single turn.
- Extreme Inventory Management: With limited vision and restricted inventory space, every item you choose to bring becomes a life-or-death gamble.
- Spiritual Awareness (Sanity System): The corruption of the Void continuously erodes your mental sanity. "Spiritual Awareness" is incredibly difficult to recover; letting it deplete entirely means psychological collapse and certain doom.
- Severe Party Wipe Penalties: If the entire squad falls, your consciousness will violently disconnect from the anomaly. You must expend a massive amount of Divine Coins to reconstruct the link before you can re-enter the ruins to salvage your progress.
