About Alchemy Absorption: Melody

Silas is a 21-year-old with an adventuring spirit. He dreams of growing strong enough to explore dungeons, rare areas in his world that contain monsters and treasures. To achieve that, he is joined by his sister Asteria to attend the magic university, Celestial Academy. At the university, Silas meets and falls for Melody, one of his professors. However, he's not alone in that, not by a long shot. Melody is a dark fairy who constantly emits an aura that attracts people to her. Even though she's very flirtatious, she longs for a serious relationship with someone who won't just drool in her presence. Luckily for Silas, he's a bit more resistant to her aura than the average person. Will that be enough to win over Melody or will he end up with a broken heart just like everyone else who confesses to her?

Features:
• Visual novel with choices (affects progress with the heroine)
• Multiple Endings (failure ending, normal ending and true ending)
• 3-4 hours of reading
• Lovely CGs

Well I got this game for just over $1 and it was very cute! Took me about 6 hours and although there were minor plot holes (if you think too hard about it) the story is very cute and your character gets to romance the "succubus" teacher in the rpg magic academy. The PROS are that you get to experience a heartfelt story with comedy, romance, flirting, and monsters. The CONS are that it's very lighthearted and just a cute story that doesn't delve to much into logic or anything too inspiring (aside from a cute romance). So my CONCLUSION is that I recommend this if you like monster girl/guys, romance, and a lighthearted rpg that doesn't go into detail about rpg aspects and may have some tiny minor plotholes. Very Cute. Loved IT!

Important note first: Steam did not track my time in game correctly, but I did 100% it.^^ Alchemy Absorption: Melody is building a very interesting world in this game that I would love to explore some more, Melody is an amazing character and really one to fall in love with. I just wish I could spend more time with other characters, personally finding Eliza a very interesting character to get to know better (not necessarily in a romantic sense). This is once again a gem from RhinoGearz, that is sadly not gathering enough attention.

A cute romantic visual novel with an interesting setting, though it was shorter and shallower than I'd like, and the mechanics for the magic being very simple and based on RPG rules was somewhat dull. I also would've liked more romantic routes instead of just the Dark Fairy/Succubus's, but I really loved the concept of trying to differentiate love vs lust in a romantic plot. It was annoying that there was exactly one specific route through all the dialogue choices that lead to the good ending, with ALL other choices leading to bad ends, but it wasn't too time-consuming to have make a different and continue the story. There's no h-content, just a middle-aged Dark Fairy with very appealing "proportions" and VERY skimpy outfits, but it does have a nice after story to the romance. The art and music were very nice quality, and avoided overstaying their enjoyment due to the short length of the novel. I'd give this a 7.3 or 7.5/10 (above average, bordering on very good) for a short visual novel, and I can recommend it to those wanting a quick, cute romance, but you'd need to be cautious of where you read it due to the raunchy outfits...

There's effectively only one path, if you don't max affection they game will abruptly end at key points. The setting is half assed AF, and the MC is a touch too soft and placating for my liking but its a short read and left me with positive feelings if nothing else.
