About Alicia Quatermain 3: The Mystery of the Flaming Gold

Alicia Quatermain, a well-known adventurer and adrenaline junkie, is invited by sir Gringray to a charity ball – a common social event where no surprises can happen.

But who could think that the thing would go wrong, really wrong! In the midst of the party fun there appeared a ghost that seized sir Gringray’s family relic called the Sword of Seven Seas and vanished in the air with the artifact as suddenly as it turned up.

What was the reason for the ghost to appear? Why did it steal the Sword of Seven Seas? Is sir Gringray’s family relic lost forever or can it be still regained? And the main question – shall Alicia agree to help sir Gringray to find the Sword of Seven Seas, or shall she revise her lifestyle and change her adventurer habits by turning into a glamorous lady and a habitué of elite parties?

Are you really curious to know it? Then don’t hesitate to follow Alicia Quatermain to the ball to be a witness of the beginning of a new incredible story. Drop everything and hurry up!

Not as good as the first 2. You literally have to be perfect to have any chance to get 3 stars. They needed to give a little more leeway, cuz it ruined the fun of the game

A clear the road type of management game with 50 levels to play through. I did enjoy the first 2 games in this series, but this one adds two very annoying elements to it that completely killed my enjoyment and made me dislike the game: - some sort of bandits that just get in the way by blocking your roads randomly - darkness. I really hope the 4th game won't have this anymore. Works without issues on Linux with Proton (Proton 7.0-1).

I played the first two Alicia Quatermain games and, although they are a bit challenging at times, I enjoyed both. This third game is basically impossible because you have to be absolutely perfect to earn 3 stars. I got through the first few levels with some difficulty but then I spent about an hour and a half trying the same 5 minute long level over and over. That's just not fun. At all. Where the first two games were enjoyable, this one is just frustrating and slogging. This studio also makes the Hercules series so I don't know why they chose to make Alicia Quatermain games so much more difficult.

This worked with Windows 10 for me. It's a good game. You play it by clicking on things. (Boy does that describe a lot of games.) Clicking on something assigns a worker, or, contextually, another character, to take that action, collecting resources, fixing things, upgrading buildings, and demolishing obstructions. Where the gameplay comes in there are limited pathways that restrict what things you can do, until you open those pathways up; and you need to, quickly, on the fly, work out what to do next, and where to set your priorities. Each level has a different kind of puzzle to work out. If that sounds like your kind of thing, buy it.
