It's very linear, there is no real exploring or doing anything you want. You have a single goal, you transport to 'the world', you do the thing, you zap back. You don't choose your growth, you can't influence your overall power, everything is very on rails. Beyond that, you appear to randomly take damage, I thought it was a mechanic to force you to return to the hub so you don't power level, but it appears to be a problem with ranged enemies, when a ranged enemy is present you just randomly take damage even when they're not clearly attacking you. I think the attack is happening but the NPC animation doesn't play and no projectile is shown, I think the games just assigning you damage. It's a cute idea but this is not a quality execution of said idea.

Got this game for 2.75 discount and its not even worth that, and 13$ is outrageous and here is why! 1. It is not Fun 2.Gunplay feel like your shooting a airsoft Gun, no modifications except imbue, no attachments 3. most Gun bloom is insane, you have to semi it to hit something mid range 4. imbuing guns with effects just gives your weapon a ok skin( dosen't even change how its shoots for Ex: fire stone on AR should make it shoot explosive shot, It dosen't) 5. Dialogue is ass 6, it is not a good roguelike their is nothing there just a few guns you can buy that's all. no Ability's no modifiers(from where i left off, to boring to continue.) 7.same loop 8.Goddess look like unity assets/low quality 9.Demon minion is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass that's were i stopped 10.No Gex! (Jk) Now to the good points 1. Ok looking bosses and attacks, after Demon minion ♥♥♥♥♥

i know the game is in early access and the main theme is cool i liked it but the core combat didnt really hit for me the impact feels kinda weak the open world could be bigger rn it feels small and limited looks like some ai was used which i didnt really mind holding the weapon from the side while aiming felt awkward and uncomfortable i dont get the logic behind it an option to change or disable that would be way better there are no proper low or ultra graphics settings and performance feels off even with high fps it still feels stuttery i noticed drops and fluctuations which was annoying the game def has potential but for now im refunding it if it gets better in the future id consider buying it again

It has some interesting ideas but It's rough and the balance is bad. I know this is something that is supposed to be improved on in the next update. Waiting to see how that turns out. Edit: Waited on update nothing really balanced it out.

Anime FPS: Guns vs Magic is a roguelike first-person shooter developed by BEPLAYER and published by BEPLAYER Games, combining anime-inspired visuals with fast combat, fantasy chaos, and progression systems built around repeated runs and growing power. Rather than grounding itself in realism or military simulation, the game embraces an energetic and exaggerated identity where magical worlds collide with modern firepower. It delivers an experience designed around speed, constant action, and the satisfaction of becoming increasingly powerful while facing larger threats. The premise immediately establishes the game’s playful tone. Players take control of an ordinary person suddenly pulled into a fantasy world through a familiar isekai-style setup. Instead of adapting to this strange new reality through swords and traditional fantasy heroism, the protagonist gains an unusual advantage that shapes much of the game’s humor and identity. Modern conveniences and contemporary thinking clash against monsters, magic, and supernatural forces, creating an intentionally ridiculous atmosphere that never takes itself too seriously. Combat serves as the foundation of the experience. Large enemy gr…

OK I rarely review, but saw the other reviews and see that you guys work on the feedback so heres mine: Pros: I really love the game so far, interesting concept, funny dialogue and charaters, and super fun gunplay Enemies are basic but diverse so still feels super fun to gun them down when they come in HUGE numbers on hard, super fun! Cons: The world feels a bit empty without any fun easter eggs to find, only having to chase the mission (I know only a few hours in so maybe i havent dug into it enough yet) Can we please make the double jump have less gravity? we fall so fast and the height feels so low i rarely use the jump in favour of just dashing Can we make it that we can look around while we dash? would make it feel much more active
