ANOTHER SIGHT is a surreal fantasy adventure with steampunk elements set in London in 1899, towards the end of the Victorian era. With an emphasis on culture and character, ANOTHER SIGHT focuses on the emotional development of the relationship between its two protagonists, Kit, a refreshingly intrepid teenager, and Hodge – a mysterious red-furred cat. They meet in the darkness of a London Underground construction site, after Kit loses her sight when the tunnel she had been exploring collapses. They team up for an adventure into the unexpected, with Hodge proving himself to be an indispensable companion, upon whom Kit will come to rely. Kit and Hodge explore a surreal fantasy world, both together and separately, each using their own unique talents to make their way through compelling environments, and to solve intriguing puzzles. Beneath London, in a world inspired by Neil Gaiman’s urban fantasy, Neverwhere, Kit and Hodge encounter a hidden society made up of the world’s greatest inventors and finest artistic minds, including Claude Monet, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison and other historical cultural icons.

MASTERS FROM THE PAST - Throughout their journey, Kit and Hodge will meet celebrated virtuosos such as Claude Monet and other historical cultural figures, and learn more about the world and the dangers it presents. These encounters have a visual impact on the world, as Kit's perception alters according to the aesthetics of each famous character's creative movement.
NARRATIVE-DRIVEN GAMEPLAY – Use the unique abilities of each character to help Kit and Hodge traverse the world and overcome environmental challenges. Kit and Hodge can split up to investigate different areas of the locale that the other may not be able to reach, with both Kit and Hodge perceiving the world in very different ways, opening up different possibilities for overcoming the obstacles they are faced with on their adventure.

One of the first Steam purchases I've come to regret. I was intrigued by the beautiful artwork and gameplay trailer but the finished product feels more like an unpolished Indie game. The controls are absolutely terrible at times, particularly when you are playing as the cat. His jumps are comically wide, making precision platform jumping with this character extremely frustrating. Sometimes the main character will refuse to move forward after a cutscene, causing you to have to exit the game and relaunch. The vast majority of this game involves puzzle solving and most of the puzzles are tedious and not the least bit fun. The game itself feels like a chore to complete.9 found this helpful
The game doesn't work anymore. At first it had the issue of videos not playing on Linux+Proton due to MS proprietary codecs, now it also freezes after the intro or doesn't launch at all depending on the Proton version used. The developer doesn't claim that it should work on Linux, so that's fair, but there are threads in the game discussions that report the same issue on other platforms (you can search and read them yourself). I had this game for a while, hoping that these issues would eventually be fixed by either Valve, the developer, or the community, but it is clear now that they won't. RIP.4 found this helpful
I liked the game, I liked the chemistry between the girl and the cat, and the journey was not boring at all, always something to discover. I liked The story because suddenly becomes more intriguing there's a destiny for the girl to choose and impact also. The game is not too difficult to follow. I had issues few times keyboard at random times stops responding, game framerate drops to zero!!!!! The game needs to be HD and bugs corrected. It's great to replay at least another time with another sight.3 found this helpful
Really sets in what kinda game this is the second time you swap to the cat to find out that, after all your exploring, it hasn't moved at all.
Even with how much I like puzzle games, this one I give up.. Controls felt too clunky, weird, slow The game itself is too slow to be enjoyable for me.. (movement, cutscene, dragging box, stuffs) If only you could control both characters at the same time, or have the other character follow you for any straight paths
To get to the next level you try different combinations, until you get fed up of trying different combinations. Try something more interesting like feeding your cat .......
