A great tower defense game with interesting mechanics. The micro consists of running your character around, shooting, and using your ally abilities to either AOE burn down shields or launch an explosive. The economy is very straightforward
always build memory producers if available
, but the build phase does let you be pretty flexible, so you can set your towers up to force the enemies into a funnel or however else you want to manage battlefield coverage. The further you get into the game the more mechanics pop up that aren't strictly tower defense, such as
themed minigames to transition between boss phases
or some
micro heavy sections where you make your way through maps with movement puzzles
. Some reviews say these were too difficult, or broke the flow of gameplay, but I did not find them to be that hard and enjoyed the break of pace at times. This game will not help you prepare for you CompTIA Security+, but it's definitely worth playing start to finish.2 found this helpful

Very fun tower defense combat. Being able to redirect the enemy paths with obstacles elevates the traditional tower defense gameplay. Plenty of different mechanics to control outside of the typical "tower". Much recommended, for the gameplay, art, and music. Well done chowbie and team!1 found this helpful
I'm not a huge fan of tower defense games. If I'm honest, last time I played one might have been over 10 years ago. I bought this game blindly without paying much attention because I thought the graphics looked cute and the synopsis sounded interesting; but I'm glad I did! Found this game very refreshing because I felt that it managed to make TD not boring for a person like me, who mostly plays action games. The progression also feels natural and towards the end of the game all weapons and towers are useful, which is rare enough to see. Difficulty is perfectly balanced and it barely ever gets boring. But most of all, I want to take some time to talk about the story and setting. As much as it is very lighthearted and simple, I found myself incredibly surprised at the attention to detail. All characters, malware, weapons, towers and statuses; they all follow the theme closely it really feels like the person who took the time to come up with this concept put a lot of effort into these details. The characters are super cute and creative (love the artstyle), and the humor is kinda out there (some people might find it dumb/repetitive), but I had a lot of fun going through the dialogues…
Fun game. Active play tower defense, very enjoyable, IMO. Uncomplicated.
fun tower defense that doesn't let you afk and lets you interact with the game while adding new mechanics at a good pace with surprisingly fun boss fights. Excited for future updates later this year!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
