Unfortunately it doesn't work for the PiMax. You can make it to the main menu, but the controllers aren't supported. I wish it did not FORCE me to choose a thumbs up or thumbs down. I would have just left it neutral if Steam had allowed me to do so, but never question the wisdom of large corporations.

Apollo 11 VR HD, developed and published by Immersive VR Education Ltd., transforms one of the most significant milestones in human history into an immersive virtual reality experience that is both educational and entertaining. Rather than focusing on traditional gameplay, it invites players to relive the legendary Apollo 11 mission through a combination of cinematic storytelling, authentic historical material, and interactive simulations. Built as a complete high-definition remake of the original release, this version introduces upgraded visuals, refined environments, improved lighting, sharper textures, and enhanced audio, making it the definitive way to experience the historic journey in VR. The experience excels at recreating the excitement and tension surrounding NASA's first successful Moon landing. Authentic mission recordings, radio communications, and carefully recreated spacecraft immediately establish a sense of realism that few historical experiences manage to achieve. Every major stage of the mission is presented with respect for the real events, allowing players to appreciate not only the astronauts' courage but also the enormous technical achievement behind the miss…

This title is one of the few that I consider to be essential in the library of every VR owner and is an amazing historical journey that at times really evokes at least a little bit of what it must have felt like to be there. Every time I get a new headset, this is one of the first titles I use to test it out. Most recently, I ran through this with my new Pimax Super mOLED and the deepness of the blacks were revealed in a way that I hadn't experienced before making the utter darkness of space that much more impressive. If there's anything I would request, it would simply be another future update to further enhance the textures since on an 8K headset, even the latest HD graphics, find their limits quickly, especially in the lunar orbital views. But despite this, the title continues to age well and I continue to regularly recommend it.

This feels more like a 360 yt video than an actual interactive game. Interactivity is extremely limited there are only a few sequences where you can actually engage with the environment and the lack of motion control support is a major drawback. Being forced to use a head pointer for selections which isn't even centered correctly feels incredibly terrible and dated. The experience was nearly unplayable on my Quest 3. The triggers failed to respond properly which eventually forced me to skip interactive segments via cutscenes just to progress. Furthermore the movement was jittery and lacked any smoothness leading to significant motion sickness. To top it off I encountered frequent texture glitches and flickering throughout the entire experience.
