AQUA KITTY UDX blasts onto Steam in this enhanced Ultra Deluxe Edition including an epic Dreadnought mode!
You and your team of milk mining kittens have overcome a fear of water to drill down under the ocean seabed and begin extracting vast reserves of what seems to be naturally forming full-fat milk. Get ready for fast-paced submarine action, defending the kittens from disruptive mechanical sea creatures.

In the game you can choose from 3 different main game modes:
CLASSIC - The regular game mode, clear waves of robotic sea creatures whilst protecting milk mining kittens. There are 4 sea areas, each with a large boss enemy at the end. Work your way across the map via any route you prefer. ALSO try the special Infinite Espresso challenge level, where there are no milk pumps to defend and the enemy waves just keep on coming!
ARCADE - This is a twist on the main game mode, with the addition of gems you collect and use to buy upgrades. These upgrades persist across levels.
DREADNOUGHT - The newest game mode is set deep underwater where you must fly through huge multi-screen enemy dreadnought ships, weaken them by blasting parts off to expose the shielded weak point, and then destroy the core!!! (all whilst trying to free imprisoned cats!)
Some of the enhancements compared to the original Milk Mine Defender game:
Extra Bosses (one per sea area).
New Dreadnought mode with 13 increasingly humongous dreadnoughts to battle and destroy.
Improved visuals such as new parallax scrolling skies and other enhanced graphical effects.
Rebalanced gameplay.
Please note - The game is best played with an Xbox or PS4 controller, as controllers with analogue sticks give the most precise movement control. Keyboard control is also supported. Mouse control is not supported.

Cute little Shmup with some aspects of the arcade classic 'Defender', but a wider variety in gameplay. I got this with a huge discount and really like the game. I advise to wait and get the game when on sale.2 found this helpful

This game really needed rogue-lite progression. It wasn't overly difficult but also, it wasn't fun. The concept was great (cat nautical engineers in submarines with guns) however, it was executed poorly. I wouldn't buy this game if I were you.1 found this helpful
It's Defender but with kittens. If that sentence alone doesn't make this an instabuy, are you sure you're human? Oh and it works great on Deck/SteamOS!1 found this helpful
Since this is pretty much the same as the normal version, I am also gonna not recommend it. The controls suck and the movement is convoluted and stilted, which is a problem in a game that's effectively a bullet hell. Your pea shooter is super weak and not even remotely good enough, not to deal with the massive bullet sponge enemies that come in later in the game. Once you reach lvl 10, the difficulty ramps up to an absurd degree and continues getting worse, all while you barely get any changes to your ship. The difficulty would be fine if your ship also scaled accordingly, it doesn't and that creates allot of frustration (it's like luck matters more than skill later on in the game). The enemies are too many, they can fire at any angle and their bullets stay way too long. Combined with the stilted movement, it's really hard to not get hit. The movement also messes with the pea shooter, for some reason you half your range when you rush forward, which you have to constantly do to save kitties from being abducted from aliens. Speaking of that, the radar is almost useless and due to all the sh!1 going on, you will either take hits cause you looked at the radar or miss kitties being abd…
some weird studdering slowdown during gameplay made this just not fun to play.
