About Kitty's Last Adventure
Play as Kitty or her friends and survive the wave of cat nightmares in this roguelite survivor. The cat automatically throws its toys at enemies; all you have to do is control its path!
As you progress, you'll unlock an array of hilarious yet powerful cat-based weaponry that evolves with you. Each weapon starts as a playful toy and transforms into more impressive and dangerous forms.
Each weapon you acquire is associated with one or more families, each offering distinct bonuses that amplify with every point in it. Will you be a playful cat dropping cute ball, or a nasty one throwing poop at your enemies? Control one of the different cats, each with its characteristics and starting weapon!
After each run, you can purchase permanent upgrades or new cats to play with!
The entire world unfolds within a book created by Kitty's grieving human so she can experience one last adventure. This book contains multiple worlds to explore, each representing a stage of grief.I am Woum, a one-man army that did everything except the game's sound design! I may not have that much time into the game yet. But I've enjoyed every moment thus far. Everything from the calm music, to the unique weapons to use. It has pretty much everything you'd want from a Survivor title. I've still got a lot to unlock, but it'll be enjoyable every step of the way. Originally, I purchased it simply to kill time until another game arrives soon. But now, It'll be in my normal rotation of Survivor titles that I play. If you like cats and Survivor titles, this is an easy purchase.1 found this helpful
simple but lovely game! it's kind of like vampire survivors but cats! not as complex, but that's fine! the cats are cute. the gameplay loop is addicting. the mechanics are interesting and I like the family bonuses and weapon types. (stick is my mvp) I've almost 100% it. runs perfect on deck. my only complaints would be 2 main points 1: I'm not sure if it's supposed to take this long, but I only unlocked shadow just now when I'd nearly finished everything. I guess I felt like It was kind of less exciting that way. 2: the stages do get repetitive, as you have to do the same runs with each cat for all achievements. I would love a dlc with extra stages, or an endless mode, or more challenges to mix it up. even just a couple more songs or a color pallete swap for each stage would be nice. but overall I am very happy and felt it was well worth the purchase!!1 found this helpful
Fun fact: My kitten's name is also Kitty! I have 10 hours in this game already and I can say I'm enjoying it a lot. It makes me feel better with myself for some reason. I always smile while playing it and I want to say thanks for creating this cozy experience. I found the game like 1 year ago in my Opera GX browser where there was a demo available and I loved it since the first moment. There was something about it and the story behind the game that made me feel an instant special connection, and I'm very proud to say I even bought the Supporter Pack because I sincerely think the developer deserves it and also to express somwhow my gratitude. I hope that you, the person behind this game, could read this review and I would like to make you smile even a little as I do when I'm playing this game, Kitty's Last Adventure. Thanks again! Curiously addictive. I like the originality and creativity, my cats hate most of the same enemies. The music is good, the underlying theme is also great, and I understand the grief very well.
Having a great time with this! I appreciate the cuter tone as most Bullet Heaven games seem to center around dark themes (which I love but variety is the spice of life). Also, while the overall story is sad it does have some funny aspects that I think would make any cat lover chuckle!
