Horrendous. So poorly optimised, the game turns into a lagging mess upon completion of the Championship campaign. Zero replayability, can be completed in under 30 minutes. Avoid.1 found this helpful
I bought this game because it reminds me of a classic NES game I used to play called Cobra Triangle. Everything from the weapons, to the obstacles (cyclones), monsters, and racing aspect is spot on. I really like the game graphics and music. It looks and sounds good. My biggest complaint is the clunky controls. It seems like when I am accelerating and steering either left or right it turns really slow. It seems like when you approach a curve you should be able to turn into the curve faster, also when you bank out of water you seem to be stuck for a long time before the game moves you back into water. It would be easier just to have an invisible land barrier that you cannot enter onto. I tried running this game on my HD 6770 and it would barely run (1-2 FPS max.) I can run NFS:HP on my HD 6770 no problem. I think the polygon count in this game is too high for older graphics cards. At the time of this review I would not recommend buying this game, but being an early access game I would change my review once the steering issues have been fixed.1 found this helpful
I really like this game, In my opinion has still some work to do but it is early access. The concept is great and the few levels that I have played make it different every time. I like how you can fight other boats and avoid obstacles at the same time. I had trouble driving at first but I overcame it eventually. The thing that bothered me the most is that when you take a jump , you completely stop in the water after taking a jump. Also, there is no esc button or anything once you get in a race, I had to hard exit the game to leave. Overall, this game is great!
