"Arcaduis" is a simple selection of basic ripoffs of Atari 2600 games, and it's difficult to see what the point would be, especially given that Atari have published overhauled versions of many of these games directly on Steam themselves. I suppose making this free gives the developer a bit of leeway to avoid legal action for any copyright infringement (yes, that's right, you cannot actually take someone else's game idea, remake it, slap your own name on it and pretend it was your own idea, that's called copyright infringement). This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is.
