Ardency: Heart of the Rebellion is a fantasy otome by Lacydigital Studios. You follow a small camp of, well, mostly friends as they are stuck in the middle of a war, between their own kingdom and Kedarn, the neighbouring elven kingdom. Unfortunately, however, it isn’t as easy as it seems. Betrayal could be around any corner, can you really trust your friends, or even potential love interests? Starting off, you’re very quickly introduced to four major characters, the people who will be with you for the journey, and also your love interests - 3 male, 1 female. Claudin is your childhood friend. Lovely, yet hot-headed He’s part of the Mazakoi race, and they’re all so lovely. He ended up being my favourite character by a landslide, Claudin is my precious boy and I will protect! Artie is the crown prince of the kingdom you are working for. He’s a fantastic leader, although he and Claudin don’t have the best relationship. Moira is your sneaky spy, a very lovely woman to back you up. Ardency Heart of the Rebellion is a fun fantasy adventure with romance and a bit of spice mixed in. The character interactions are very entertaining and the routes all a bit different giving you something new each route. In this game some choices do have consequences that you can actually see during the end of the story which is something I liked. To give a brief summary of the story without giving too much away, you follow the MC who works as a ranger for the kingdom of Allton. After Capturing an elf certain events cause MC to go on an adventure to the Kingdom of Kedarn in which at that point depending on the character route chosen the story can divert leading the MC and her chosen love interest on different missions to different parts of this fictional kingdom allowing the player to experience different locations making this story world feel more vast. Overall I personally found this romance adventure story to be fun time and worth taking a look at. If you do purchase the game my recommended route order would be Artie -> Claudin -> Kasanov -> Moira

The characters and their interactions were great. I feel like relationships between characters were the main focus, but the story wasn't boring either and I liked the differences between each route.

A fun and entertaining fantasy game!

So sweet and cute. I've only played Claudin's route so far, and I can't wait to get into the other stories. But.... I may have to play Claudin's route again first. Can't get enough of that blush!
