Artisan TD is a fantasy tower-defense-strategy game that does everything very well but not exceptionally well. Quite strategic with a use for every tower, but had way more emphasis on creating mazes with towers than other TD games I've seen. It was not a negative; it was even the original feature that made it stand out from the rest. The other thing being the limited quick shots, extra manual-fired shots, which I didn't care for. I appreciated the zoom feature. I wish more TD games had that. Several modern quality-of-life features that made the game more pleasant to play, such as being able to restart a wave you'd already done to do better. Attractive 3d graphics but the monsters were a little too detailed making them less distinguishable from each other especially when tower "light" effects were affecting them. The story was almost totally overlooked. No intro, no cinematics, no even illustrated panels between maps and just a paragraph of text when you finish it all. I prefer a little more gravy or sauce with my meat and potatoes. In later maps, it seemed selling the towers and replacing them from wave to wave became more necessary... and annoying. A better tower defense game would be to go climb up a tree and throw rocks at people. boring phone game made to look like an actual video game and doesn't do anything new or interesting. The only challenge you face is struggling to stay awake.1 found this helpful
2/10 It is cute and a simple tower defense game. But, for a game like this to run so poorly is... odd. Even on the lowest settings and smallest resolution it still heats up a PC like the 4th of July. It was literally running hotter than Baldur's Gate 3. I can't recommend unless this issue is fixed.1 found this helpful
i do not like the game it is very boring too me. you may like it though!
Fun to play
Pretty sure this used to be a free flash game, and it seems like not a thing has changed about it. Its lame, lazy, boring and restrictive. Great way to kill some time if youre looking for something that isnt very engaging, though. I cant believe this was as expensive as it was...
