About Isle of Arrows
✦ AI summary
Place randomly drawn tiles to build towers, roads, and buildings that defend your island against waves of enemies in this strategic fusion of board games and tower defense. Each roguelike run is unique with different tiles, enemies, and modifiers, demanding careful planning and quick adaptation as you work with the hand you're dealt.
Isle of Arrows is a fusion of board game and tower defense, in which you place randomly drawn tiles to build defenses on an ever-growing piece of land.

Isle of Arrows offers near endless replayability by combining Tower Defense with random tile drawing mechanics and roguelike elements. This requires you to plan ahead, but also adapt your strategy each turn. Consider the placement of each tile carefully!

The order and type of tiles is randomly generated, but you are guaranteed to draw set amount of towers, paths, and buildings every X tiles. This mimics the luck of the draw mechanics of many board games and is what makes Isle of Arrows unique.
Each round, you place randomly drawn tiles on the isle. Spending coins allows you to skip a tile. When you're ready, start the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action.
Towers attack the invaders. Roads build out the path the enemies walk on. Flags extend the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on.
Randomly drawn bonus cards give access to resources, upgrades, and buffs.

Good clean tower defense fun. Controls could use a little work, but still worth every penny.1 found this helpful
very fun to take at your own pace!!1 found this helpful
This style of game really isn't my thing, so I don't see myself putting much time into it. However, I actually liked what I played so far. Seems solid. Nice mix of puzzles and tower defense. The randomness of the tiles doesn't do the experience any favors, but at least it keeps things feeling fresh.
simple yet great game (overpriced) The worst issue is not getting Legacy Tower every game when you are trying harder modes (sometimes you just fail)
Replayable, good stratigic gameplay, nice minimal graphics, chill
It is okay but has little replayability. You are unable to reset your progress
