10/10 Japanese hard. It seems like the original game was made for JO material though.

Great Game

One of my favourite VN's. I highly recommend it. The tactical battles can be tough, but as long as you make use of your save slots you should be able to make it through with a bit of trial-and-error. A negative is that you can't skip battles on newgame+ so you'll have to fight all of the battles again if you want to play all of the routes. You'll have much higher stats and more knowledge so they are a lot quicker and there isn't exactly a True Ending in this VN so it's not all bad. Remember that Ctrl lets you speed-up attack animations!

Older, but enjoyable strategy JRPG / virtual novel. It is quite demanding - game is neither easy nor tolerate poor planning. You will not walk through the game easily. It is really tactical game with added virtual novel, not vice versa. VN is basically coming to age story and I felt it very good at it. The stories differ quite a bit for each girl (Total 7 total stories) and I found most of them good. The tone of the most stories is quite bittersweet and includes some heavier themes (racism, nuclear technology etc.). Do not expect philosophy thesis. There is quite a bit of character development (not all for better), and MC (who is quite moronic for most part, but gets there when time's due) does not gain girl's affection out of blue sky, which is usual trope. This is all age version - but I think story works perfectly well without h scenes. I really liked the game and if you like tactical JRPGs and/or virtual novels with comingt to age themes, do not hesitate. You will be rewarded.
