making my way through the assassin's creed titles, i ran out of steam on this one. i still haven't finished it. i didn't like it when it came out, and i like it only slightly more now. the gameplay is so tedious, i don't understand the obsession with adding new mechanics into every game in this franchise. thank god they got rid of the tower defence minigame, but now i have to deal with naval battles?! like, this isn't what i signed up for. instead of finding feathers, i have to chase down almanac pages that start moving when i get close. now synchronisation points don't reveal the whole map either. i'm not even going to mention the bugs. they did a great job with Ratonhnhaké:ton and his native american heritage, but oh my god i'm so tired of this game
This is the most beautiful game every made, I'm hoping it'll be remade one day.
The designers did such a great job with this game but unfortunately it has Ubisofts QA, 7 years later and there are still save bricking bugs that can occur at any time, id avoid it and just watch a playthrough or something
Про игру: Интерфейс - говно. Взлом замков - говно, если кто помнит оригинал. Новая система паркура - говно, старая давала больше управления персонажем. А также персонаж стал чаще залезать на предметы с ♥♥♥♥♥, уверен, что у всех было такое, когда бежишь по прямой, а перс берёт и цепляется за ящик, лестницу, небо, Аллаха. Прогрессия персонажа - говно. Брони нет, аптечек нет, оружия много, 75% из него - бесполезно (как обычно), статы оружия ♥♥♥♥♥, берите дубину, иначе будете дрочить даже рядовых противников по полгода. Костюм Ахиллеса - бесполезен, у него даже капюшон не снимается, настолько напохуй делали. Кольцо - норм, если учесть, что это единственная возможность повысить выживаемость перса. Яд всё ещё ♥♥♥♥♥ не нужен. Сайд квесты - говно. Зачем было делать хуже, чем в Revelations? ♥♥♥ его знает. Челенджи - говно (как обычно) Морские миссии - круто, но говно. Защити ♥♥♥♥♥, уничтожь ♥♥♥♥♥ на время, вечные рифы и скалы, напарники - тупые (как обычно), прокачка корабля обязательна, иначе будешь сосать ♥♥♥ в одной из финальных миссиий. Экономика - говно, максимально перегружена, нужна исключительно для прокачки корабля. Поместье - норм, местами душев…

As Assassin Creed games go, this isnt a bad one at all (overall). Story it pretty decent and most of the gameplay is typical AC style with some new additions on the previous games - Weapons, ways to get round etc. HOWEVER, as remasters go, this isnt great! Sometimes the game looks fantastic and pretty good by todays standards, but other times, mainly the cutscenes, it looks really aged! Almost like theyve not touched it! Theres still bugs in this game from when the OG AC3 released which is mad. But the main reason im giving this a negative review is i forgot just how bad the Chase Charles mission was!! Easily the worst AC mission of ALL TIME!
