Metaltron - an energy-rich metallic planet has been invaded by combined forces of humans and orc hordes. Elder Golem chose you to defend Metaltron!
First action tower defense game where you power up your towers however you like. Play as Metaltron's Defender Golem and build towers to defend your planet from the invasion. Game offers 40 levels of campaign that can be played solo or in coop and first ever Skirmish mode in tower defense games.

- Lots of towers to choose from for defending you home planet - from laser turrets, through poison cannons to electric swinging Tesla tower.

Interesting Tower Defense game with a few different twists, particularly in respect of tower upgrade options. The graphics are bright and cheery and the music (at least at this early stage) might have the capacity to get annoying, but you can turn it off I seem to be getting by on a combination of controller (I hate WASD) mouse and keyboard. It would be nice to see the different controller and keyboard keys in the options menu. There is a useful tutorial that I initially had trouble finding as it was blocked out by a progress dialogue box - so I was doing it blind for a short while. Pricing seems pretty good and I am looking forward to progressing.9 found this helpful
A fairly simple tower defense game. some of the levels are extremely challenging, dancing to upgrade towers is amusing but does eventually get old. As far as cheap tower defense games to kill a bit of time, you could do worse.7 found this helpful
