About Asteroid Defender!
In Asteroid Defender! you take on the role of an elite pilot who has been recruited to the Earth Defense Force. Your mission: protect our world. Patrol the stars with the X-33 fighter ship as you blast endless waves of asteroids from the sky before they can hit Earth in this fast paced space shooter. Earn upgrades along the way, maintain your defenses, and undertake various side missions. Do you have what it takes to protect our world?
Keep the earth shield online and operational!
Powered by four separate pylons, the Earth shield provides a secondary layer of defense for any asteroids that slip past your guard. You must seek out and collect power cells during your patrol of the stars. As you travel between each pylon, keep a close watch over the power levels, making sure to install power cells into any failing pylon. If all four pylons fail then the Earth defense shield will power down. Without the shield Earth can only survive several asteroid impacts before it is destroyed!

Great game with fun takes on the genre. A welcome challenge in the too often super easy indie category, really makes your progress feel earned.1 found this helpful
This is a great spin on an old classic. Controls are easy to pick up and the 3D space combat aspect is awesome. The component upgrade system adds a fun strategy twist to this great little indie game. If you like flying space ships, blowing stuff up, or saving earth from giant space rocks, definately add this one to your library!1 found this helpful
Definitely a fun little game. I've been watching it since it was greenlighted a while back, glad to see it get released. You are a commander in charge of keeping Earth safe! Navigate the void of space while blowing up incoming asteroids, managing defences and sweet ship upgrades. This is a nice take on what is at its core, some very traditional gameplay.
