Difficulty : 1.5/5 (Easy) Global : 0.5/5 (Bad) Curator page : Anokturnus Astrodelia is a sci-fi puzzle adventure, you're playing as Major Tom and your mission is to destroy a space-time anomaly. The game features various puzzles with a wide range of gameplays, and the adventure feeling is there. But that's the only good things I can say about it unfortunately. The puzzles are plagued by abysmal controls. Manipulating the jetpack feels horrible, the fps mode is atrocious (you move extremely slowly using a virtual keyboard and joystick on the screen) and even the point and click gameplay doesn't feel good. For example, you're asked to climb the branches of a tree one by one with your jetpack while the camera doesn't move and you have no idea of their depth. I know it's hard to imagine when I put it like that but trust me, combined with the jetpack controls, nobody would ever want to do it. The only acceptable gameplay is the point and click one, and the majority of their puzzles is ruined because it's either a tedious maze, obscure, or just uninteresting. The items in your inventory have no description and no …

Puzzles are not interesting and it feels like developer tried to overthink them to make them harder. For example instead of guessing password we just need to find it on the wall. Instead of rethinking on puzzle dev decided that we may look on this wall only 3 sec just to make it a bit harder. It's a shame to make such puzzling games, no entertaining or challenge, feels like big engine demo. Also doesn't understand why I can't use keyboard arrows instead of onscreen gamepad

Accessible collection of different puzzles with generous hints and auto-solving. You play Major Tom, an android sent to a station that’s gone silent. Although there’s a natural progression through the game that makes sense, you simply move from one puzzle to the next. There are logs that give light on the situation, but there isn't much of a story. Depending on the challenge, you can interact with the world via keyboard or mouse. This means that certain puzzles need dexterity, while others require logical thought. Because the game has more in common with adventure games, the bulk of situations still require only the mouse. Despite challenges similar to those found in other games, each puzzle seems unique because of the visual style. There's a maze, a memory challenge, pattern matching, looking for codes in the surroundings, using items, and so on. Some problems can be failed, but there is no consequence because you can easily restart, and some even feature checkpoints. Unfortunately, not every puzzle is great. The one where you must evade robot guards is a disaster due to poor controls. Your robot moves where you click, but it lacks intelligence and gets stuck in walls. On th…

I love robots and space so I decided to give this a go. It runs well on Steam Deck with minimal effort. The puzzles aren't difficult but not boring either. The controls can be a little awkward (sometimes that makes sense in-game), and with my issues with depth perception/spatial awareness I would know what I needed to do but struggle to get it done, being able to move the camera would've been really helpful but I get that it is how it is for a reason. It's a me issue, but for others with issues of that sort IRL, it might be something to be prepared for. It does let you skip if you really can't coordinate something, which is appreciated, although there are consequences for doing so. Where this game shines however is the visuals and atmosphere. If you like sci-fi along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien, you're in for a treat. There are little references thrown in here and there, and it really shows how much the creator loves the genre and aesthetic. I honestly kinda just wanna wander around in the world as Major Tom because it's just so nice. Some if the puzzles are also up my alley (I love puzzles in general). I ran into some minor weirdness where Tom would wander ano…
