Space bullethell!
Hurricane space shooter.
STORY
Missing.
GAMEPLAY
There are quite a few missions. Each can be passed from 1 to 3 stars. Even for a loss, they will give gold, which can be used to improve the ship. Our ship can develop various types of attacks and even unlock new types of hull, which will allow you to shoot even better. Consider the pros and cons of the game, sum up.
PROS:
+ Good graphics. + Good music and sound accompaniment. + Excellent, intense shooting. + Strong but passable enemies. + Excellent progression system of our ship and weapons.
CONS:
- Not detected.
CONCLUSIONS
Good bullet hell. The progression of the ship is very felt and it helps in the replay value. Lots of levels, lots of enemies and shooting. With a voxel design to the ships, it wouldn't surprise me if the developer is a huge fan of Legos. Even though the game is decent fun, I lost interest in it after a few short hours because of hitting dramatic difficulty spikes that require a good amount of grinding to get through--and I wasn't really having all that much fun with the repetitive playing of previous levels just to earn money to buy the upgrades I needed. There are a number of AstroWings games on mobile, and so I am not sure if this is something reworked/ported from those. Even if it is a mobile port, there's enough care in making this game a PC version that doesn't show its mobile roots. Or maybe this was just made for PC to start. Either way, it looks and feels pretty good. There is no story at all, and no words, just plain and purposeless shooty action. The shooty aspect is why most people are go…

This one definitely belongs in any Shoot 'em up collection (I have around 90 in mine). The ability to change the ship's direction during fights gives this one a fresh coat of paint. After the first hour of fun, it gets grindy, because you need more upgrades to progress than would be possible if you only played each level once. Grinding earlier levels for coin is a decent feature b/c you feel OP due to the upgrade system. I really like the way the upgrades work, very incremental, and a sense of power building slowly but surely. It's only the upgrades you want, unlike other games which bombard you with strange skill choices which you feel unable to discern between. I wish the ship could turn twice, however, and face the bottom of the screen. Seems very odd that this isn't possible...

Astro Wings is a shooting game faithful to the basics. The level design that you can enjoy enough fun even if you do not pay separately is excellent. Cool game where you can feel the 90s!

It's a real slog fest. You purchase upgrades in a similar manner as *Skyforce*, but at a significantly slower pace because they're so doggone expensive, and you don't make much money per stage, even if you complete all the objectives. I'm stuck on the second-to-last-stage, and I just feel underpowered and unable to progress at this point.

I actually like this game but it just feels off with playing WASD keys instead of using mouse The game design is great no issues there and only 3 bosses missing from Astrowing 1&2, music is good too the main reason why i wont recommend is because i can't change the controls. Overall a cool and nostalgic game for me
