an environment covered in ice and snow is the excuse used in this game for the ball being all sluggish and unresponsive with unpredictable acceleration and deceleration. like in the first game you get very simple gameplay with no secrets and a single environment to play in. you can actually jump now but still no abilities and no different materials for your ball. dealing with sluggish controls, huge hitboxes and weird physics sending your ball off the track even after the slightest contact is the main reason for the game's slightly higher difficulty level when compared to the first AtmaSphere. the game even crashed once during one of the "impossible" rated levels. luckily they are not as impossible as it may sound... finishing and 100%ing the game took a little over 2 1/2 hours. very cheap during sale and good enough for a lazy afternoon. if you really like these ball pushing games you could get some fun out of it. otherwise this isn't the game you're looking for. back to my review of the first AtmaSphere game: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Meister_Leuchte/recommended/7536602 found this helpful

2009 Vibes, love that!!
It's like AtmaSphere 1, but better looking and better implemented. Some minor crashes here and there but after disabling "Motion Blur" they seemed to stop for now (fingers crossed). Recommended.
A game that both improves and detracts from it's previous entry. AtmaSphere 2 is the sequel to the peak ball rolling game that is Atmasphere by Mazen Games. With more ball rolling madness with more levels, more mechanics , and more complex level design. As someone who got the first game for free and generally enjoyed it despite its flaws, I was interested to see how a sequel would tighten up and improve the gameplay. Fortunately AtmaSphere 2 surprisingly does improve and build upon the gameplay from the first game but at the same time also introduces odd mechanics that genuinely dampen down the experience in strange ways. It's safe to say it's certainly not a long breeze that the first game was. Gameplay of Atmasphere 2, like the first game, involving you trying to roll Ballard to the end of the level. This time you just need to get to the exit, no almost pointless gem hunting here. The levels this time are split up in different catagories of Easy, Medium, Hard and Impossible, although to be honest the hardest levels in the game are in the Hard section. Each level also has a time restraint to get all 3 stars for a level, which is important if you're trying to get all the achiev…
