If you don't see any anomalies, escape through the exit.
Only 10 correct predictions in a row will allow you to escape.
Backrooms Anomaly is a psychological horror game that tests your perception and attention to detail. Set in an endless office corridor inspired by the legendary Backrooms, you'll find yourself surrounded by yellowed wallpaper, buzzing fluorescent lights, and the unsettling feeling that something isn't quite right. A mysterious figure in a hazmat suit patrols these halls, adding to the tension as you work to uncover the truth.
Key Features:
- Explore a meticulously crafted looping Backrooms environment
- Spot subtle changes in the environment from posters to furniture
- Atmospheric sound design with position-based ambient audio
- VHS camcorder aesthetic enhances the unsettling atmosphere
- Multiple playthroughs encouraged to discover all anomalies
- Counter system tracking your discoveries
- Two different endingYour mission is to carefully study your surroundings as you navigate the endless corridor. When you notice something has changed - be it a misplaced object, altered text, or something more unsettling - return to the entrance to record your discovery. If everything appears normal, proceed cautiously to the exit, but beware, only 10 correct predictions in a row will allow you to escape. Will you notice enough anomalies to escape, or become another permanent resident of these endless halls?

It's a re-skin of Exit 8, which is not a bad thing. Plenty of backrooms anomalies. I've already gotten to the end of both normal and hard difficulties in sub 30 minutes, so it's not too difficult, but look forward to finding all of them. If you like Platform 8 or Exit 8, you'll dig it!4 found this helpful
I was really hoping for more than just 45 minutes of gameplay.1 found this helpful
Really enjoyed this one. The rules are simple, so you can jump in immediately without having to learn anything complicated. It's perfect for quick sessions since each run feels a bit different and works well even if you only have a few minutes. The Backrooms atmosphere is genuinely unsettling and keeps you on edge without relying on constant horror. There are plenty of anomalies to discover, which makes exploring and paying attention rewarding, and the occasional jump scare adds a fun surprise without becoming annoying or overused. I wouldn't call it a horror game as much as an atmospheric anomaly-spotting experience. If you like the weird, liminal vibe of the Backrooms and want something that's easy to pick up and replay, this is definitely worth checking out.1 found this helpful
Fun and challenging anomaly hunting, definitely will come back to find them all!1 found this helpful
The game is ok but the fear factor is lacking here. 6.5/10 https://youtu.be/C-PZamMUyMs?is=aC0lBNKi7F-Fokpb
