Bad Janitor is a game, where your objective as an undercover janitor is to get tenants to move out of their apartments by discreetly annoying them, so the buildings can be torn down and get rebuilt into office complexes by your actual employer, CityGrind Corp. You will also have to perform basic janitorial duties to keep your job and cover.
STORY
Your big day is here! After ten years of slowly climbing through the ranks at CityGrind Corp, you’ve finally been scheduled to meet the boss. Rumours around the office tell of a new and innovative land acquisition method that can quickly turn financially unimportant apartment buildings into beautiful new office complexes. Your meeting with the boss confirms these rumours and you get transferred to a new position to implement them in practice.You’re slipped in to a company that provides janitorial services to apartment buildings around the city and begin your campaign of annoyance.FEATURES

Bad Janitor is essentially an inverse of the management simulation game genre; instead of trying to keep tenants in an apartment complex happy and appealing to their needs, the major goal of the game is to get everyone to leave out of frustration so the company you work for can demolish the property. This means the standard gameplay loop generally revolves around causing mischief and problems for the people inside the building, while also trying to keep up the facade that you're a legitimate janitor, which is pretty enjoyable and fun. That being said, the repetition of the gameplay does set in pretty early, and while there are a fair amount of different types of tenants with different items inside their rooms you can mess around with (as well as things they tolerate or dislike differently), the overall system of what you do as the levels get more complex doesn't change a whole lot, unfortunately. The game is fairly casual enough for its "campaign" mode that you can easily play it while listening to a podcast or something, and it's a pretty good game to zone out to. Worth the money for the soundtrack alone. The humour is somewhere between potty humour and cynical social commentary, which is kinda fun. Like South Park, BJ gives different audiences a very different experience.
Got Bad Janitor from sale. So far it seems easily worth the money. Would pay this much for the soundtrack alone TBH.

Bad Janitor is a fun little indie game with a lot of charm. The art style and soundtrack are both great, and the gameplay is simple but entertaining. It does get repetitive after a while, but I still had a good time with it and think it’s worth picking up.
