About Baezult 2
The original Baezult was released in October of 2014 and the sequel has some obvious improvements, such as better graphics (The original only using 16 colors) and a non-static camera. This hasn't heavily impacted the gameplay and the game still feels the same but better. with many more types of puzzles and elements that you will just have to find out and see for yourself.

Baezult 2 is a retro-inspired puzzle platformer with charming pixel art and well-designed challenges that appeals to fans of games like 1001 Spikes or Rick Dangerous. Players praise its stellar visuals, tight difficulty balance, and short but satisfying runtime of around 70 minutes, though some find the platforming frustratingly precise and note occasional technical issues like memory crashes on repeated retries. The game is generally recommended, particularly at a discount, though it may feel shallow or repetitive to those seeking deeper exploration or more variety.
Something a bit like 1001 spikes or Montezuma but more shallow. Not recommended unless you like those small platformers with exploration of catacombs. Play Tomb Raider instead,
8 found this helpful
This game is so wonderfullly designed. The art is stellar and the challenge is Juuust right :) a beautiful bite sized challenge that kept me coming back. Well worth the asking price!1 found this helpful
Baezult 2 is a nice little retro platformer with improved graphics, game play and music. It's worth playing especially with the discount.
Simple lil' puzzle platformer. Little jarring at first seeing a block get blown up and it flies... Toward the explosion? But I get it; Puzzles. Game only took me like 70 minutes (not 100%), with me being stuck on a not-that-difficult puzzle for like 35 minutes (I am not an intelligent man), but it has got some serious speedrun potential! I think a dedicated player could get the time below 10 minutes. Would be nice if it showed gamepad controls (Guessing what the keyboard inputs map to wasn't hard, but was inconvenient), or had an option to rebind them, but not bad. (Note: The game does weirdly run out of memory and crash if you retry 10 or so times. This can happen mid-run, so speedrunners beware)
As another reviewer has noted this owes a lot to the Rick Dangerous puzzle platformer games. It could do with a little more variety but works well enough. It has a tendency to pressurise the player at key points so if you are ok with that it might be for you. Or you could check out Rick Dangerous. Recommended but only on sale.
Baezult 2, like it's predecessor, is a puzzle platformer inspired by Indiana Jones, pitfalling and tomb raiding. The game is divided in 5 distinct areas, all of which have a secret collectible, needed in order to get 100% completion. The platforming can be frustrating at times, requiring precise timing and repetition. There are traps you can not avoid, and the only way to proceed is to memorize their locations. Puzzles are, in most part, intuitive an fun to do. There was only 1 puzzle in the entire game I found sort of hard, it was in the 4th area and was optional to get the collectible, but, after I solved it, it seemed pretty obvious. Controls require some getting used to, like jumping and then pressing the desired direction when in a tight space between some spikes, and the ladder climbing speed, which is a lot faster than your walking speed. Otherwise, once you get the hang of it, controlling your tiny dungeon robber is responsive enough.
