Absolutely loved this game. I actually only just learned that there was a QUBE 2, as I played the OG QUBE back in 2012 and at the time it was one of my favorite games. Very very reminiscent of Portal and Portal 2, with QUBE 2 exploring an outside world. The puzzles are fantastic and some are rather tricky. I managed to beat the whole game in about 8 hours first time through. A little bummed that I have to buy the DLC in order to get 100% completion with the Steam Achievements, may do that some day. Anyway, would highly recommend for puzzle lovers. But get QUBE 1 first if you haven't already played it.

A vastly improved sequel. What can I say, I liked it. It's on the shorter side (WHICH IS GOOD BTW GAMES SHOULD NOT BE LONG ♥♥♥♥ YOU), and it's on the easier side... the way easier side, but that's fine. I'm ok with some easy games now and again. The good stuff: - Graphics, sound, music. Aesthetics are great. I especially love the occasional glimpses of the outside world, mostly of the sky - Puzzles are easy yeah, but they make sense and lead you to the proper solution in a satisfying way - Small number of direct actions (make red/blue/green cubes, or step on pressure plates) and lots of puzzles and mechanics come out of it - Btw I like that there are fewer cube types than there were the in first game. The yellow stair cubes from the first game were redundant, for instance. This was much, MUCH cleaner, and required less random clicking. Fewer things used more effectively, that's unironically good game design. The bad stuff: - It is scientifically impossible for your character to walk slower, I checked - The story is better than the director's cut of the first game, in the same way that any positive number is greater than zero. Overall not a bad game, simple puzzle room game. You learn concepts then apply them to further rooms. However the gameplay loop is incredibly boring. If you want simple puzzles this game is for you. If you played previous portal games you might find this boring. There was not a single room I spent more than 2 minutes figuring out how to solve the puzzle. Was hoping for more mechanics or harder puzzles. Also was extremally glitchy. lots of bugs/ Overall 6/10
