Amazing game I think it is harder than portal 1 and 2 and the visuals are more cooler and it is realistic plus very beautiful I like the puzzles and it's fun.
Engaging puzzles that teeter on the edge of being infuriating in some cases, yet always feel great to complete. Simple, but robust gameplay.
Frame pacing is very inconsistent. I have not been able to resolve it other than capping my FPS through the config files. The infamous "traversal stutter" of UE games is definitely present in this title. Mouse movement is tied to the framerate in a way to where the dips wildly messed with the movement. I don't remember this being present in the first game, so it's just odd why it's here now. As detailed as this game gets compared to the last one, VRAM usage is low for even 2018 standards. You're utilizing about 2GB of VRAM at any given time while your core utilization can sit at 100% to render a closed-in room in the dark, with minimal reflections as low as 30 fps at times. I'm not a developer, but I can't help but think the game could've better utilized the hardware of even its time. On the plus side, the scalability of this game is great: it challenges modern hardware with gorgeous ray tracing settings while still being playable to many. Game still looks great, even with RT turned off, but I highly recommend playing with RT on. Overall pacing feels slower than the last game, which feels strange not just in a puzzle game that lets you take your time but that you also expect …
I made it to what appears to be the 2nd act of the game, and this Darth Vader sounding robot voice started talking to me. The problem is, it's hardly intelligible, and I can only hear like half of the words it says. So I had to quit the game.
