Banana-Shaped is one of the most shallow games I’ve seen on Steam. It’s basically just a mindless clicker where you repeatedly click a banana to unlock randomly generated banana images, with almost no real gameplay or depth. The progression feels pointless, and the mechanics quickly become repetitive and boring. Even the visuals rely on simple AI-generated images, which makes the whole experience feel lazy and uninspired. It’s not surprising that the game has mostly negative reviews - there’s just not enough substance here to justify spending time on it. Unless you enjoy extremely basic idle clickers with no real goal.
