2/3rds to 3/4ths of the game is already free on Itch.io, the game doesn't have a volume slider, and the wall jumping in this game is annoying, which makes a specific endgame room extremely unfun to play. The art is pretty and world 2 is fun. Worlds 1 and 3 are okay but pretty short other than some missions that are made to take a bit of time doing the same tedious thing multiple times.

This is one of those times where the recommendation is up to what you want to take out of this game. For the casual gamer it can provide enough content for a somewhat wacky experience. From lines filled with comedic banter befitting the world of your banana character, goofy interactions with the environment and a bunch of stages to explore while looking for coins and completing mini side quests. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, the tracks fit the simplistic and bubbly aesthetics and by the end you realize that the developer just wanted to create a short experience to make people smile. Having said that, for those looking for a platformer with competent controls like yours truly it’s a shame to be flawed in that department. In fact, one can attest to that by dealing with an imprecise double jump mechanic to trying to complete some really annoying mini quests in pursuit of collectibles such as kicking a coconut to a frustratingly moving character or racing on a slippery pig’s back. Furthermore, some characters just wouldn’t stop yapping even without a prompt to talk to them, glitches here and there would teleport you to different places and some infuriating obstacle placement b…

Good game, moving around was fun :)

A nice chill collection platformer. Collect coins to unlock progress through doing a variety of challenges you find in the world, with some hints available on the uncollected coins through the coin list menu. You never need to collect all coins in an area to progress, and can always backtrack to revisit previous areas if you decide to leave and come back later. Death's are quickly reset, placing you at a point near where you died without a screen wipe, allowing you to get right back into the game without wasted time or frustration. The game has fairly tight controls with a fun double jump mechanic that let's you launch yourself forward or backwards for some fun platforming but sacrifice the ability to wall cling until you land or pick up a new peel. Wall jumping is done by holding towards the wall you're on up until you press jump and then pressing towards the new wall's direction up until you press jump again - it may take some getting used to but works well. The lack of a map bothered me at first, but once I understood enough about how the game was set up and knew I wouldn't be locked out of anything it left me to have more fun exploring and discovering, figuring out wher…
