Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

This is exactly what the monkey ball franchise should be. A near spotless recreation of the first two games, which set the standard the rest of the games unfortunately couldn't live up to. To anyone with fond memories of those games, this is a fantastic remaster. A slight change in the physics, but not a hard one to get used to. To anyone new to the franchise, this is a perfect entry. This series is a very precise, often ridiculously difficult physics based puzzle platformer. You roll a ball across a stage and through the yellow tape on the goal at the end. As you grow used to the physics, you can easily find major skips for basically every core level, and beating the stage begins to come secondary to either speedrunning or styling your way to the goal. There are also a fleet of fun party games and local multiplayer for remote play with friends. Some of the party games didn't get quite the same degree of care in transferring the physics that the core gameplay did, so it loses around half a point for some sloppy execution in that regard.
