I wish it were 1400h instead of only 14h

It might be the worst Barbie game ever made, something that feels completely careless. You play as a social center designed terribly by your character’s mother, who is supposedly a designer, yet the building is unbelievably impractical and ugly. There are very few clothes, this is a Barbie game, yet there’s no real sense of fashion, no furniture variety, and no design depth. Also, in an attempt to avoid being racist, you can choose a Black Barbie alongside the original Barbie, but you can’t make any other racial choices reflecting the rest of the world. Thanks for addressing racism in the most uninformed way possible. The mini-games are awful. Most of them feel copied from low-quality cooking/restaurant games. I won’t even get into the poor graphics or the ridiculous travel system. I don’t recommend it. I’m only playing it just to play something.

Great game for our 4 and 6 year old girls, the quests are simple but linear. They get rewards (map unlocks and clothes) for finishing quests , some mini games are harder for the 4 year old. It’s also great that text in game are in Swedish so I can just read for them instead of having to translate. As a parent I also like the calmness of the game, it’s not that hectic, which is great as everything today (tv shows) are usually too hyped. The girls love to play the game using Xbox controller, steam link and Apple tv.

Bought this in the sale for £12 not £35 and I still feel like it wasn't worth the price point. I finished the game purely to get all of the achievements but my god this game is dull. Every task is so monotonous and having to play the same style of mini game over and over was genuinely draining, it felt like a chore rather than a game. £35 is ridiculous for what the game is, do not recommend.

okay so this is probably my first game review but oh wowser i'm really in love with this game, it's a modern Barbie game, i grew up with classic Barbie but her modern era 2018-2025 is what i love about Barbie even MORE, mini games have alot of my favorite songs from Barbie: Big City & Big Dreams and Barbie: It Takes Two(which making me hyped as hell), yes the game is really simple but the story telling is what making me hooked, like all Barbie movies and shows that i've watched before, my conclusion? Barbie Project Friendship gives me so much enjoyment & happiness 11/10! :3

If you love Barbie and enjoy things like: mini games that are connected to story, sorta open worldish and fun dialogue to listen to, then this game might interest you. As for me, I enjoyed the game and even got 100% achievements.
